Please play this game. But first, this game is for people willing to devote 100+ hours into 100%ing this game,
and people who wont quit because the first part of the game is a little boring. Ok, why you should play, this game is beautiful and the are style fits perfectly, and so does the music, you need a toaster to play, and its cheap as hell. But, of course it cant all be good, the biggest con is that the developer left the game behind and i think he didnt pay his workers or something, but that is really it. So in summary, if you devote maybe 5 or less hours of boring sand collection to get the slime pickaxe and shovel then this game will be super fun. The community is still sort of active but new videos come out weekly. Do I think you should this game? yes 100%. I've almost 100%ed the game and thats really the only thing to do/objective and it may take afking overnight, but if you're willing to do that. just buy it. stop looking at reviews.

Forager kind of stumbles over what it could have been.

First of all, when starting into the game you would never expect the depth that it has. However at some point the game has a hard time keeping you entertained to actually find whats beneath it.

If you are into automation games like Satisfactory or Factorio then parts of this might be for you.
Only buy this if you are willing to play with internet help. This can change the game from being okay to farily fun since it lacks explanations on many corners.

All in all this could have been great if the developers would not have abandoned the game and given it some more polish but like this it is an entertaining but not mind blowing experience.
