Possibly the best action adventure game i have ever played.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice presents you with a gripping story, filled with mistery and intrigue, Being thrown into the fantasy world of Ashina, it is up to you to discover the occultish and supernatural traditions of the world. Inspired by Japanese folklore, you'll be faced with supernatural beings, apparitions, masters of arcane arts, etc. with each one of them ready to kick your ass or help you, or maybe even both.
Though the world is rich with detail and prods the player's imagination and detective skills, it is not the main dish Sekiro wishes to offer.
The real reason everyone is here is the combat, which, i'm happy to say, is about the tightest and most satisfying combat in any third person sword fighting game ever, Sekiro wishes to make the player play aggressively while also attentively, watching enemy attacks and maximising the damage as much as possible while making sure not to die.
Though combat consists mostly of deflecting, attacking, doging and jumping, throughout the game you can upgrade your character to perform new abilities, either acting as thougher, risk/reward counters or special abilities that are slower than the regular attacks but can apply special effects/deal more damage in the alloted opening of the fight.
Although somewhat reminiscent of "soulsborne" on paper, Sekiro is a completely different experience in action, and feels probably twice as good as those games, due to the invigorating feeling of speed, verticality and brutality that From Software put on display here
The game is a MUST play, how you do that is up to you, even if the fights seem impossible you'll quickly realise how effective ass kicking is as a teacher if you keep coming back.

I GOT A HAND FULL OF FLEMOID AND A MOUTH FULL OF CHEX

Everything the critics say about this game is true.
The game is a boring, content-less, sprawling open world filled with lots of things that don't actually do anything. It's fallout 4 but with none of the fun, not even the voice acting on the human characters that JUST GOT ADDED INTO THE GAME AFTER A FEW YEARS is worse than the ones in fallout 4 both in writing and in the voice work, everything is grindier, EVERYTHING. I see a lot of people say the game is fun to EXPLORE, but exploring gives you NOTHING in return, every single story the game wants to tell you is on a holotape, YES, a holotape that you have to LISTEN TO at the voice actor's pace, instead of a simple text crawl that can be easily read through.
Nothing about this game is FUN, in the 4 hours i spent with the game the most fun i had was having my friend jump off a guard tower and laugh at how abysmal the death animations are.
Go buy TES:O if you want an online MMORPG from bethesda, if you want a FALLOUT GAME go buy fallout 3 GOTY, or if you want to hate yourself but in a smaller dose go buy fallout 4, either choice is more functional and has about 20x more content than 76.

Yes, i played the free weekend, no, not the entire free weekend, it was just too painful to even get past the second day.
