Make Terminal windows stand out with profiles
When you’re logged in to several servers, unique background colors and window titles specified in profiles help you easily spot the right Terminal window. Use profiles built into Terminal, or create your own custom profiles. To work with profiles, choose Terminal > Preferences, then click Profiles.

Navigate Terminal windows
Add marks and bookmarks as you work, then use them to quickly navigate through lengthy Terminal window output. Select a line in the Terminal window, then choose Edit > Marks > Mark to add a mark, or Edit > Marks > Mark as Bookmark to add a bookmark.

Manage processes
Use the inspector to view and manage running processes, and quickly edit window titles and background colors. To open the inspector, press Command-I. To send a command to a process, select it, click , then choose a command from Signal Process Group.
