Extend your AppleCare+ coverage

If your AppleCare+ plan expired recently, you might be able to continue coverage.

If you paid upfront for an AppleCare+ plan, you might be able to purchase new coverage within 45 days after your original coverage ends. In China mainland, you might be able to continue coverage within 30 days of the end date of your coverage. Not all products and buying options are available in all countries or regions.

Review your options

In the United States:

  • If you paid upfront for an AppleCare+ plan for your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple Vision Pro, Mac, or Apple Display, you might be able to purchase new coverage that renews monthly or annually.

  • If you paid upfront for an AppleCare+ plan for your AirPods, Apple TV, HomePod, or Beats, you might be able to purchase new coverage that renews annually.

In Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom:

  • If you paid upfront for an AppleCare+ plan for your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or Apple Vision Pro, you might be able to purchase new coverage that renews monthly or that bills monthly and renews annually.

  • If you paid upfront for an AppleCare+ plan for your Mac, you might be able to purchase new coverage that renews annually.

In Chile, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, Thailand, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Vietnam:

  • If you paid upfront for an AppleCare+ plan for your iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, or Apple Vision Pro, you might be able to purchase new annual coverage.

In China mainland:

  • If you paid upfront for 12, 24, or 36 months of coverage for your iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, or Apple Vision Pro, you might be able to continue coverage on an annual basis when the service period is over.

  • If you pay annually, your annual plan will renew each year until canceled.

Extend your coverage

  • On your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro, go to Settings > General > AppleCare & Warranty, then tap your device.

  • On your Mac, click the Apple menu  in the corner of your screen. Choose System Settings > General > AppleCare & Warranty. If you can’t find System Settings, choose About this Mac, then choose Support.

  • Go to mysupport.apple.com and follow the onscreen instructions.

If you choose to add or continue coverage, your coverage will be subject to the then-current AppleCare+ Terms and Conditions.

Check when your coverage expires

  • On your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro, go to Settings > General > AppleCare & Warranty, then tap your device.

  • On your Mac, click the Apple menu  in the corner of your screen. Choose System Settings > General > AppleCare & Warranty. If you can't find System Settings, choose About this Mac, then choose Support.

  • Go to mysupport.apple.com and sign in to your Apple Account. Then choose your device from the list.

  • Find the expiration date in the Proof of Coverage or Plan Confirmation message that is sent to you when you purchase the AppleCare+ plan.

You won't receive notifications that your plan is about to expire unless otherwise required by law.
