A wonderful little oasis in busy Besançon. The garden is so beautiful and peaceful. Slept like a log in the very comfortable bedroom. Fantastic shower and super wi-fi connection. Throw in a great breakfast and a welcoming host, the result is super overnight stay. Plus, old town only a 15 minute walk. Car in garage so very secure an added bonus.

The 'room' is rather large (more like an appartment) over two floors and quite comfortable. There's also a garden, but we couldn't enjoy it, because of the nasty weather. The location is great. There's a garage, which was large enough for my car with the bike rack still attached. There's also a train station within walking distance and it is an easy 15 min walk into the old town of Besancon. The owner Richard is very welcoming and friendly. In the morning he will provide you with a nice breakfast. We liked the place a lot and can absolutely recommend it.
