CPF x Boehringer Ingelheim Join Forces Toward Net Zero CPF has recently partnered with Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health (Thailand), a global leader in animal health, to sign an MOU for the “Toward Net Zero for the Neo World” project in Thailand. This collaboration aims to drive the Net-Zero goal, fostering an environmentally friendly, low-carbon society. The MOU ceremory was joined by Khun Prasit Boondoungprasert, Chief Executive Officer, CPF, Khun Panuwat Niamprem, Head of Integrated Poultry Business, CPF, Khun Apisak Khunwet, Head of Animal Health, Boehringer Ingelheim (Thailand), Khun Johannes Kerner, Economic Cooperation Advisor at the German Embassy in Thailand and a Board Member of the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce. Government representatives and industry leaders also participated in the signing ceremony. This collaboration highlights another step toward low carbon society by transforming used poultry pharmaceutical packaging into Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF), enhancing waste management efficiency to boost renewable energy production, and supporting the Net-Zero 2050 greenhouse gas reduction target. CPF CEO, Khun Prasit, emphasized that CPF and Boehringer Ingelheim share a long-term partnership in developing the livestock industry in collaboration with the government, including the Department of Livestock Development. He highlighted that both the public and private sectors must work together in business and environmental sustainability. CPF is committed to Net-Zero 2050, including sustainable water and packaging management. This partnership reinforces efforts to sustainably manage packaging waste and contribute to environmental conservation. Khun Apisak Khunwet expressed his honor in collaborating with CPF, stating that this initiative is a meaningful transformation that benefits the planet while promoting sustainable food security. The German Embassy’s Economic Cooperation Advisor commended the project as an eco-friendly innovation, demonstrating global private sector collaboration in reducing carbon emissions in the food industry and promoting a circular economy within the food production value chain.
