This recognition has been a game-changer for us. Since joining the program 1 month ago, we've been able to significantly increase our growth and increase the number of farmers we work with. The mentorship and partnerships provided by Accelerating Asia have been instrumental in supercharging our growth and refining our strategy for revolutionizing Southeast Asian agriculture. But this is just the beginning! We're incredibly excited about what lies ahead. 

Living Roots Founders, Avika and Abhi grew up in Bangkok and met as students in New York, studying software engineering. After a few years working in Silicon Alley, they went home to Thailand and started a farm - but they had trouble growing with traditional fertilizers, so they started building new ones with the help of AI. Soon they had a farm-consulting business and a successful product: bio-active fertilizers full of fungi, yeasts, and bacteria. We’re excited to be part of the Agri-Food Innovation Summit and to share the launch of our new products!

Look at this pumpkin seedling's impressive root depth just days after germination! The third seedling, treated with our nutrient and biology-rich seed coating, shows remarkably enhanced root development. It's been thrilling to see our field trials yield such promising results. We've observed higher germination rates, improved stress tolerance, and lower disease pressure - all from simply coating the seeds. We're excited to launch this seed coating for staple crops soon, aiming to reduce conventional fertilizer needs and boost yields by harnessing diverse microorganisms. This technology has real potential to support more efficient and sustainable farming practices.

We’ve spent the last 4 years building a product that will help more farmers adopt biological-based agriculture. We’re really excited to share and launch our product within the next coming months! We’ve designed the entire journey of planting three crops: rice, cassava, and sugarcane. From seed to grain filling to harvest - we are designing products that help farmers get off chemical fertilizers and adopt biological & organic nutrients. We’re really excited to say that soon farmers can transition and use our nutrients and biological products to stop using conventional methods from the first season. They can expect the same or higher yields as well! This is all thanks to the power of biology :) At the moment, we’ve been planting more acres with our product to learn the best practices of how to apply it. Doing more trials with partners and things are moving really well! In the photos, you can see how farmers can soak their cassava sticks in a biological extract - mixed with nutrients and biology that is needed for optimal germination.
