An Honest Report..On the condition of the "Cannabis Industry" in Thailand. Almost, everyone who has a shop in Pattaya , without exception. Will tell you, in bragging boastful terms. That they are highly connected and protected by politicians, city officials, provincial officials and police implying the shop owners pay graft and bribes to these corrupt officers of the public trust in a protection racket...... they also volunteer that they are Mafia, have men with guns, and will do violence such as beatings and behave like gangsters trying to gather a following of the weaker shops. Here is my takeaway. If you are following the law, obeying the rules and regulations.. then why do you proudly and arrogantly talk like that . ? Why do you even need to participate ? Why do you disrespect and defile their positions for your claims ? WTF is wrong with you ? What possible benefits are there to promoting your Mafia gangster lifestyle while at the same time exposing those who you claim to be connected to and protected by to possible criminal charges ? It's by choice.. there is in the Cannabis Industry in Pattaya the Spector of Organised Crime. Now that Cannabis has become medical only... it has been exposed and is now in the open, there is atleast,the appearance of it and openly proclaimed. At present, Your medical cannabis that you buy is handled by someone who proudly proclaims to be a Mafia gangster with government officials in their pocket like tiny coins and police to be their soldiers for a fee on top of the monthly 10,000 Baht bribe. There is nothing, medical about that.. there is nothing respectful, nothing honourable, nothing noble and nothing at all righteous about any of it. Patients, especially international patients, deserve dignity and respect and the full protection of the law to feel safe and secure. Thailand does not deserve this national disgrace, this attack on the national integrity, this insult to it's leaders and officers. They have always been kind to me and a gracious host. I am at their service.
