Sustainable tourism can protect children—when everyone plays a part. The “Together to End Sexual Exploitation of Children in Travel & Tourism” project in Phang Nga, Thailand, worked to strengthen child protection in the local community. The initiative focused on equipping #TravelAndTourism businesses to protect children, establishing a network to prevent and respond to #ChildSexualExploitation, and empowering young people. Now, our new case study unpacks how governments, businesses, communities, and youth came together to create a successful model for safer, more sustainable tourism.
