1000 days ago the world agreed to #BeatPlasticPollution at #UNEA5. Today, after four rounds of talks, #INC5 begins. We must now nail the text of the #PlasticsTreaty to protect our environment, our health and our future. Now is the time for a deal. We do not have another 1000 days to wait. At the opening of #INC5, I called on all countries to work together and use this week to land a strong treaty and give the world what it wants: an end to plastic pollution.
