Very well priced, two minute walk from metro station. From the airport to the hotel was one train and one metro, really easy. While dining options close by are limited , a short one metro stop and you are in the arena district with countless options. Very helpful staff, nice rooms, not spotless but have seen much worse. Also very easy to access old town, that metro that stops out front will take you there in 25 minutes. We liked it because it took us away from the crowds.
We really enjoyed our stay. It is close to a lot of shops and restaurants. The Rijksmuseum is a short walk away. There is a tram stop also within walking distance. If you want to do a canal cruise, there are several that board across the street from the Rijksmuseum. There is a bus that goes right from the airport and stops across the street from the hotel. The bus stop to catch the bus back to the airport is just down the next block. Our room was pretty spacious for a European hotel. As a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member, my suite night awards didn’t get approved (likely because the hotel was full) but I did get upgraded to an executive room. I enjoyed the personal welcome note and treats from the staff. They also dropped off a thank you note and a small gift of stroopwafels on our last night! The only issue we had with the room was that we couldn’t get the temperature as cool as we wanted but that wasn’t a dealbreaker. The room had a coffee maker and a small mini-fridge to keep water and drinks cool. The M Club Lounge at the hotel was great. My only complaint is that I do wish they’d vary their breakfast items each day. Five days of the exact same items got to be a little tiresome. We only made it to the club in the afternoon/evening twice during our stay. On Friday night, it was jam packed. People were circling like sharks. I really loved the coffee machine in the M Club and liked that they had bottled drinks we could take back to the room.
Hotel was great for the price you pay. The rooms are tiny (barely enough room to open a suitcase) and although situated conveniently next to a metro station is in the middle of nowhere but again, you get what you pay for and the lobby, gym and communal areas are well designed and well kept. If you don’t mind a 15/20min Metro travel to Amsterdam Centraal you wouldn’t mind it here I give the hotel 2 stars because I accidentally left my Apple Airpod headphones in the lobby area the day I checked out to visit another hotel in Amsterdam, although when I called Hotel Leonardo that same night to ask them if they’d been handed in I was told they hadn’t. I travelled down to the hotel the next morning to be told the same thing, that there were no headphones that had been handed in but they asked for my name and previous room number so they could contact me should they turn up. Luckily I was able to make my lost AirPods make a sound (findmyiphone feature you can activate when you lose a device) and I could hear them beeping behind the front desk so I told the receptionist that I knew they were behind the desk and she eventually handed them over. I firmly believe the hotel staff were trying to keep my misplaced AirPods headphones and if I had not been able to make the sound from the Airpods they would have pocketed them
Myself and work colleagues attended a business meeting in Pulitzer Hotel Amsterdam, and immensely we were impressed about the luxurious accommodations of the supervisor Tessa. who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, coupled with her exceptional service, made our meeting and dinning experience truly memorable. Tessa is truly a credit to your hotel. She fully epitomises what 5 star service is all about. Please pass my warm compliment to her.
ผผู้เข้าพักI couldn't be more pleased with this hostel! I highly recommend it. The hostel, including bathrooms and showers, was very clean. The beds were super cozy and comfortable and offered some privacy. Staff was super sweet and helpful. Bonus points that the lobby always smelled like toast or freshly baked cookies! Also, the bike rental service was fantastic. One suggestion for improvement is that it would have been nice to have some wall hangers in the room. Since there were none, people resorted to hanging stuff from the bed ladders or just putting it on the floor.
Hotel in lovely area, 15 min tram to the centre, good sized clean room - basic decoration. Very much a backpackers hotel/hostel vibe. Not for someone expecting a prestige type room for the price. There was a mini fridge in our room we found very useful. Cleaners and staff were great, iron was avaliable, and slept with little noise coming from neighbouring rooms. The place had a nice atmosphere with the music venue and studios on the ground floor. We were very worried after reading some bad reviews but relieved by our actual experience of a spotless room, fresh towels everyday and a fan in our room when it was warm. It still seems a little overpriced in comparison to hotels in other cities but I think its average when it comes to Amsterdam with limited accommodation options.
