Reasonably priced hotel with a good location if taking the train as it is very near the station. It also is centrally located but has the lowest parking fee we found in the centrum. The room was relatively big for a standard room and has a fridge. Coffee and tea free from the lobby 24 hours. Continental breakfast with cooked egg. In corona times, the breakfast room was a little bit crowded but we always looked for the corner table with a window for less risk. Personnel were very friendly and service-minded.
Very friendly staff. I passed through Lulea the day before my booking and they were happy to look after my luggage for a few hours and even offered me a free orange juice as I was looking a little hot and bothered. The facilities were very good., The hotel contains a small gym and a sauna. Breakfast is of good quality. Working wi-fi.
After driving 14 hours from Stockholm to Luleå in -40° we arrived at a different accommodation to find it wasn't fit for purpose. At 10pm we rocked up to the front desk of Quality Hotel Luleå to be greeted by the friendly face of Mats. Our knight in shining armour, he set us up for the night in a lovely room for 3. After a hot shower and a cup of tea we all had a peaceful night's sleep. Breakfast included the morning after was an added bonus. Marie was also very helpful in allowing us to store our perishables in the fridge. An absolute whirlwind of a first night in Lapland, it ended so much better than we had expected!
Perfect choice of stay for a mid range business trip. Ask for a room with windows as the default is a windowless room. Not that it matters much in the extra long winter nights. In fact you can sleep far better in one during the extra long summer day (no dark). Fantastic breakfast buffet, in both senses of location setting and contents.
