ACB arrests head constable for taking bribe

UDAIPUR: A team of ACBUdaipur on Wednesday late night arrested a head constable after catching him red-handed taking a bribe of Rs 10,000. Head constable Kamal Singh Kikwat of Pahada police station tried to escape in the nearby fields after seeing the ACB team, but he lost his balance while running and fell, ACB officers said.
A person had lodged a complaint at the ACB office stating that Kikwat was demanding a bribe of Rs 50,000 in a case registered against the complainant of abducting a woman in Pahara police station on December 15.The ACB laid a trap and caught the head constable red-handed taking an amount of Rs 10,000.
