VIJAYAWADA: YSRCP president and former chief minister YS
Jagan Mohan Reddy Wednesday urged people across the state to offer poojas in temples on Saturday (Sep 28) to "restore the sanctity" of Tirumala, which he alleged has been tarnished by CM N Chandrababu Naidu.
Taking to social media platform X, Jagan urged people to counter the "false claims and misinformation" being spread by Naidu about alleged adulteration of Tirumala's sacred laddu prasadam with animal fat.
"The sanctity of Tirumala, significance of Swami's prasadam, glory of Lord Venkateswara, fame of TTD, and sacredness of Lord Venkateswara's laddu prasadam were all defiled by Chandrababu Naidu, who, with political malice, deliberately spread lies the prasadam was adulterated with animal fat and that devotees had consumed such tainted prasadam.
In order to cleanse this sin committed by Chandrababu Naidu, the YSRCP is calling for participation in poojas across temples statewide on Saturday," said Jagan.
