Pamela Anderson largely known for her role in the iconic 'Baywatch' had once recalled an incident where she was almost killed by a man on a flight. The actress recalled how petrified she was and literally felt she was going to get killed. This was due to the fact that a man on a plane mistook her as someone else.
The Hollywood star spoke about this incident on the 'Happy Sad Confused' podcast. The actress said that this man on the flight thought that she was a member of the 1960s girl group 'The Dixie Chicks'. The 57-year old said, "This one time, I was on a flight and this guy came up to me and said, 'Do you know what this country's done for you? And I was like, 'Oh, my God. What have I done?' And then I looked back at him and he'd (growl at me)."
She further added how she called the flight crew for help and they had to handcuff him. "This stewardess had to handcuff him to the chair because he was trying to attack me. Yeah. And, it ended up, he thought I was a Dixie Chick. Remember that whole Dixie Chick thing? I almost got killed on a plane," she recalled.
She added: "When you look back and he's like (scowling) at you. That was minor (though)!I was scared to fly after that!"
However, she did not reveal when had the incident taken place. But this particular group had gotten themselves in a controversy when a member from it,
Natalie Maines condemned then-President George W. Bush and the invasion of Iraq whilst performing at a concert in London in 2003 according to a report in femalefirst.co.uk.
Thus, the man wanted to kill Pamela as he mistook her as a member of this group.
