Ratan Tata's home, also famous as his 'retirement home' is located in Colaba, Mumbai. The house is famous by two names - Bakhtawar, and Cabins.

Inside Sir Ratan Tata's home was a piano that he liked to play during leisure hours. He shared once that he learnt playing the piano pretty young in life, and then after retirement, and cherished every moment of it.

One of the most circulated pictures of his home is the majestic staircase built inside. It gives victorian vibes with the high-arched ceiling and minimal rugs, and the patterns on glass and railings is simply immaculate.
Sir Ratan Tata was a generous man to not just humans, but also animals. He adopted and brought up many dogs, gave them a home, and a better life. His office and home were surrounded by dogs and made the most adorable companions.

Another famous picture of Sir Ratan Tata's home is of the Puja room. Doing rounds on the internet, this puja room features an idol of Lord Krishna, pictures of Gods and Goddesses, and a minimal energy perfect for daily worships.
One of the most adorable members of his house was Tito, Mr. Tata's first dog. They used to spend time together playing fetch in the backyard and go playing in Juhu beaches. Mr. Tata once described Tito as 'I can't call him a pet, he was so much more'.

Inside the property is also a lush garden with large trees and perfect grass beds. It was perfect for Mr. Tata's dogs to play around, and for him to enjoy a nice view.
