Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, sparks speculation with her decision to miss a major event after her tour

The NFL star and tight end of the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Kelce’s billionaire pop star girlfriend, Taylor Swift is the talk of the town due to her absence from the Golden Globes. Fans are upset and confused about it but the real reason why Travis’ girlfriend, Taylor, decided to skip the Golden Globes is because she actually was not nominated for any awards this year.
As it happens, mostly high profile celebrities skip events where they have not been nominated and it seems like Taylor is following the same pattern. Last year Travis’ girlfriend, Taylor, stunned everyone at the Golden Globes when she arrived a long sparkling light green dress that she paired with green heels. She had kept her hair open and opted for De Beers earrings.
In the 2024 Golden Globes, the billionaire global pop star was nominated for her Eras Tour in the categories of Best Cinematic and Box Office Achievement. This became a major reason for the billionaire global pop star, Taylor, to attend last year’s Golden Globes.

But Taylor’s absence has caused disappointment amongst fans who have been waiting for the global pop star, Taylor, to walk the red carpet hand in hand with her NFL star boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
It also seems like Taylor has disappeared from the public eye after she wrapped up her legendary Eras Tour. As per reports, she is “exhausted” after performing in 149 countries across 5 continents for close to two years for her legendary Eras Tour.
As per a report by Page Six, Taylor and Travis have flown to Kansas City and spent their New Year’s Eve there. So it looks like until Taylor’s boyfriend, the highest paid tight end in the NFL, Travis Kelce, starts playing in the playoffs for his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, later this month, Taylor will be avoiding the media and public eye.
The billionaire global pop star and Travis’ girlfriend, Taylor, is anyway known to be a very private person so it’s natural why she does not want any attention on her after being in the spotlight constantly for close to two years for her Eras Tour.

While the Eras Tour did not win an award in the 2025 Golden Globes, it has managed to break records of its own. Taylor’s Eras Tour is one of the most popular tours in the recent times. It was so successful that not only it generated a revenue of $2.2 billion but also contributed to making Taylor a self made billionaire.
Taylor also has not yet announced any new projects after she wrapped up her Eras Tour on 8th December in Vancouver, Canada. It seems like Taylor might make an announcement soon after taking a break during the holiday season.
