Innovative product training using VR – the use of machines for acute dialysis treatment takes place in intensive care units for kidney failure over several days or weeks. Since acute dialysis often has to be performed under time pressure or in cases of acute life – threatening situations for patients, medical staff must be thoroughly familiar with and trained on the machines. At B. Braun, we have developed an innovative approach to improve patient care. In addition to the classic product training by a B. Braun Application Specialist, the medical staff can undergo additional training using virtual reality. The Advantage? without additional resource expenditure the staff can independently practice on the virtual machine. Critical situations, in particular, can be repeatedly practiced, ensuring that no essential know how is missing in an emergency. Un momento saliente è stato il tavolo di lavoro dove è stato presentato il report "Prevenzione e controllo delle infezioni correlate all’assistenza: efficacia degli interventi sanitari”, redatto da Fondazione GIMBE, e spiegato dal Presidente Nino Cartabellotta, con l’obiettivo di contribuire a rafforzare la prevenzione delle ICA trasformandole da criticità sanitaria in una potenziale risorsa. Ein Herz-CT ist jetzt auch in Kassel möglich! Wir freuen uns über die Kooperation unseres Ambulanten Herzzentrums in Kassel mit der GNH. 🤝
Das B. Braun Ambulante Herzzentrum Kassel und das Klinikum Kassel haben vor kurzem ein gemeinsames Diagnostik-Angebot ins Leben gerufen: die Herz-CT (Coronar-Computertomographie).💓 Diese fortschrittliche Methode hilft dabei, Verkalkungen in den Herzkranzgefäßen frühzeitig zu erkennen und somit das Risiko eines Herzinfarkts präzise einzuschätzen.🩺 Wie funktioniert die Herz-CT? In nur zwei Schritten wird der Zustand der Herzgefäße analysiert: 1️⃣ Zunächst werden Gefäßverkalkungen durch ein Niedrig-Dosis-CT sichtbar gemacht, um das Gefäßalter abzuschätzen. 2️⃣ Mithilfe von Kontrastmitteln werden anschließend Engstellen der Herzarterien genau dargestellt. So können präventive Maßnahmen frühzeitig ergriffen werden. Für wen ist die Untersuchung geeignet? Die Herz-CT eignet sich für Patientinnen mit einem niedrigen bis mittleren Risiko einer Koronaren Herzkrankheit (KHK) und bietet eine schnelle und schonende Alternative zu invasiveren Verfahren wie dem Herzkatheter. Die Auswertung erfolgt noch am selben Tag und die Patientinnen können direkt im Anschluss wieder nach Hause.✅ Dr. Christoph Jensen, der Ärztliche Leiter des B. Braun Ambulanten Herzzentrums Kassel, hebt hervor, dass die Zusammenarbeit es ermöglicht, modernste Technik des Klinikums Kassel direkt für die Patient*innen des Ambulanten Herzzentrums in Nordhessen verfügbar zu machen. 💡 Wichtiger Hinweis: Patient*innen müssen vor der Untersuchung auf Koffein und bestimmte Medikamente verzichten und dürfen keine Schilddrüsenüberfunktion oder Nierenprobleme haben.
