Today, this passion drives us to become a leading denim brand; a change-maker that transforms lives, denim industry and our collaborators. Today, Calik Denim is one of the global actors in denim fabric production, placed among the two hundred companies that export the most in Turkey. Where we are today is cultivated throughout our journey, which began as the first industrial investment of the Calik Holding, in Malatya, in 1987. Our story still holds a precious place in the history of our group as well as it does in the hearts of our founders, stakeholders and advocates. Our path has been unique; walked with passion and commitment all along; gifting us with accomplishments that moved us closer to our vision. Established with an investment of $111 million, our company has grown up to a production capacity of 55 million meters per year in a total area over 777 thousand square meters and employing over 2.000 people, touching so many lives. Within the first decade of our foundation, we have walked through essential milestones, consciously knowing that the smallest and the biggest step we take are of equal significance, because they are all leading us to our vision, to fulfilling denim dreams, creating change through growth and innovation. Our company began operating the ring spinning in 1997 and by 2003, it had became an integrated plant having added gabardine/velvet fabrics to its range of products. Over the years it had proudly become a center of technology and innovation as we dreamed of, by combining broad knowledge in fabrics with powerful R&D.
