Being part of this incredible event filled with #changemakers and innovators was such an inspiring experience. 🌟In the morning, we had the chance to introduce ourselves and our green banana chips at the end of the interactive session on innovative business and financing models for circular companies, hosted by Marjan de Jong 🙏 . Saledo’s Journey in Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Program In September 2024, Saledo was honored to be selected for the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program. As part of this opportunity, we chose to carry out our exchange in the Netherlands—a country known for its innovative approach to sustainability, upcycling, and forward-thinking solutions. This step was an exciting chapter for Saledo, as it allowed us to dive deeper into the European market, refine our product segmentation, and introduce new potential offerings to this vibrant region. The Netherlands was a natural choice, aligning perfectly with our mission to tackle food surplus by upcycling green bananas into valuable products, such as our flagship product, green banana flour. With the valuable support of both Turkish and Dutch Intermediary Organizations, we had the privilege of collaborating with an industry expert and experienced entrepreneur. His guidance was very significant in helping us evaluate the potential of our product offerings and identify the best strategies to meet European demand. Although the program was only a month, it was much more than working on a product strategy or market entry. One of the most transformative aspects of this experience was the network of like-minded, passionate individuals we connected with. We truly believe the relationships built during this program will be a solid foundation for Saledo’s future growth. We are incredibly grateful for this inspiring journey and the support we received throughout the exchange. We look forward to sharing more about Saledo’s continued growth and upcoming milestones.
