Turkish Airlines (THY), which has held the title of the airline flying to the most countries since 2012, has now cemented this achievement with a Guinness World Record. According to the evaluation criteria of the Guinness World Records, Turkish Airlines set the record with flights to 120 countries, reflecting only the active routes from the past 12 months. However, THY's network covers 131 countries, including temporarily suspended routes and the airline's recent inaugural flight to Chile, where it received the Guinness World Record.
