Thanks to EIT Food #welead programme, I've delved deeper into the impact of my work. Excited to share the results of the first life cycle assessment for two of our best sellers - Vegan Chicken (B2B’s fav⭐️) & Vegan Tantuni (B2C’s fav⭐️). Our plant-based products not only offer exceptional taste but also significantly reduce environmental impact compared to traditional meat-based dishes: 🌱 Vegan Fajita (made with our Vegan Tavuk) emits just 2.8 kg of CO2 per kilogram, saving over 80% in emissions compared to beef or chicken options. It also uses over 90% less water, with just 1,276 liters per kg. 🌱 Vegan Tantuni (crafted with soy and a mix of sunflower and cottonseed oils) produces only 2.27 kg of CO2 per kilogram, conserving nearly 80% more water compared to traditional beef tantuni. As far as I am aware, those are the first LCA results of any plant based meat in Turkey (that is shared with public). Making sustainable choices never tasted so good! #sustainability #plantbased #environmentallyfriendly
