Job Duties and Responsibilities ·        Collaborate with our machine shop team to design, develop and improve drilling tools and equipment. ·        Conduct engineering analysis, calculations and simulations to optimize product performance. ·        Oversee product testing and quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. ·        Supervise and support the threading process, ensuring precision and quality in threading of drill strings and downhole tools. ·        Implement and maintain threading best practices to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. ·        Troubleshoot and resolve threading-related issues as they arise. ·        Provide technical support for the maintenance, repair and servicing of oilfield equipment. ·        Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify equipment issues and recommend appropriate solutions. ·        Collaborate with field technicians to ensure safe and efficient field service operations. ·        Manage the rental inventory of drill strings and downhole tools. ·        Coordinate logistics including inventory tracking, maintenance and timely delivery to customers. ·        Collaborate with sales and operations teams to meet customer demands. ·        Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. ·        Implement and promote a strong safety culture within the organization. ·        Participate in safety audits, incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications and Experience ·        Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical Engineering. Petroleum Engineering or a related field. ·        At least 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer.     Knowledge & Skills ·        Previous experience in the oil and gas, with a focus on drilling tools and equipment preferred. ·        Strong technical skills in engineering analysis, product design and manufacturing processes. ·        Knowledge of threading techniques and equipment used in machine shop operations. ·        Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. ·        Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. ·        Knowledge of oil and gas industry standards and regulations. ·        Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
