If you want to use the filter and the square lens hood together, please make sure that the outer diameter of the 52mm filter is equal to or less than 54mm when purchasing the filter (ask the filter store)
If the outside diameter of the filter exceeds 54 mm, the lens hood cannot be installed.
If the outside diameter of the filter is 54 mm or less, the lens hood can be installed.

Ideal focal length for portraits
56mm on APS-C is equivalent to 84mm on a full-frame camera, which is great for portrait photography. And it can highlight your subject and create a smooth blur effect in the background.

It is an amazing lens! I'm very happy with this purchase.
Use it on my Nikon Zfc.
It is a light, sharp, beautiful lens. It has excellent bokeh; the autofocus is fast and quiet.
One thing that surprised me about this lens was how well it performed in low light. I also purchased the 27 mm pancake by ttartisan, and while that lens is good for the price, this is just a great lens all around. Unlike the 27 mm, there is very little vignetting, so the corners look way better with this lens. The lower F-stops also really perform and do show in low light images. I hope that ttartisan releases more lenses - this one is really incredible.
My one caveat: I do wish there was an aperture ring. That said, it is an easy fix.
