Claire Holt to Appear in Legacies Season 4 as Rebekah Mikaelson
Another much-missed Mikaelson is returning to the fold. Claire Holt, who played Rebekah on both The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, will reprise her role in the Nov. 11 episode of Legacies (The CW, 9/8c).

“Hope is tracked down by the one person who could help her — Rebekah Mikaelson,” reads the episode’s official synopsis. “Rebekah is fearful of what path Hope has chosen but makes every effort to get through to her. Josie and Lizzie hold out hope in a seemingly dire situation as MG figures out what he can do to help. Meanwhile, Kaleb wants to set things right and turns to Cleo for guidance.
When TVLine spoke with Danielle Rose Russell (aka Hope) at the top of Season 4, she told us, “I’d love to have anyone who wants to come. It’s always so fun for me to revisit Hope’s roots.” And just like that, her wish is granted.
Holt is the latest member of the TVD-verse to surface in an episode of Legacies, joining a list that already includes Zach Roerig (Matt Donovan), Steven R. McQueen (Jeremy Gilbert), Riley Voelkel (Freya Mikaelson) and Jodi-Lyn O’Keefe (Josette Laughlin). Rebekah is my favorite Vampire Diariesverse character, not to mention Claire Holt made you love the character even when Rebekah was at her worst. Just wish it was for more episodes.

Hey, at least they stopped making all black characters be related to each other – not to mention the early seasons where they were all witches who worked as servants for white nobles :O
The CW and the choices they make around characters of color could be a whole article in and of itself. Yeah, they are not looking to try to improve that anytime soon. Happy for Rebekah returning, but would love to see them develop these main characters better and get beyond Malivor as the big bad.
Brilliant news I’m in the UK I can’t get to watch legacies I can’t wait to watch it loved the originals found it better than vampires diaries but this cw channel pain the in back side if it goes to Netflix then I catch up just to watch Rebekah again!!!!!!
U can download tea tv and watch legacies on it im in the uk too but still have access to this show and tea will be found on google search not play store
Rebekah is one of my all-time favorite vampires. The writers need to bring back all the characters of Originals to keep Hope in line. Legacies is a one of a kind original series that keeps you guessing what is going to happen in the next episode.

Rebecca and Marcel have always been my favorites and I can’t wait to see her again. I would love to see Marcel in the future.
I’d like to see them both together on Legacies. Now that NCIS NO is done, he should be available for guest spot.

If you look at the episode blurbs for 4 and 5, it’s pretty clear what happens to Hope and why Rebekah comes to town.

I love the Originals. I’m excited to see Rebekah and mostly would love love to see Klaus, Hayley and Eijah. They should have never cancel the Originals. The legacies would definitely benefit from having hope’s family members show up every now and then. Makes it more interesting. Hope’s mom was one of the people that could keep her in line. I miss them 😢
I would love to see these characters also but I really don’t think the CW cares about what all the fans want to see from all these wonderful talented actors.
