The con will be back on this October, when Leverage: Redemption releases the back half of its season on IMDb TV.[pmc_inline_gallery]
In the amusing-ish video above, the cast reveals that the second batch of eight episodes will be released on Friday, Oct. 8, thus concluding the revival’s 16-episode freshman run.
Series vet Aldis Hodge, who juggled the revival with other commitments, returns as Hardison in one of the upcoming episodes.
It was also announced on Thursday that the guest stars on tap for Episodes 9-16 include Gotham alum Drew Powell — reprising his role as Jack Hurley from TNT’s original Leverage series — Ben Thompson (Coronation Street), Joanna Cassidy (Body of Proof), Jon Fletcher (The Messengers) and Brianna Brown (Devious Maids).
They join the previously reported James Marsters (Angel, get details), LeVar Burton (Star Trek: TNG, watch a sneak peek) and Andrea Navedo (Jane the Virgin), the latter of whom will continue her arc as U.S. Marshal Maria Shipp.
Original cast member Beth Riesgraf, who plays Parker, directed two of the upcoming episodes: the midseason opener, titled “The Bucket Job” and guest-starring Burton, and “The Great Train Job,” which involves a crooked green energy innovator and an old-fashioned train heist.

I can’t wait!
I enjoyed the first 8, I haven’t taken to Noah’s character yet, but I think he just needs a little more time to acclimate. I miss Harrison, so glad he will guest in another episode.
@TVLine can you do a feature on why single “seasons” are split up into segments as if they are separate seasons.
.
I know there are probably multiple reasons but a comprehensive explanation-maybe an explanation of the most likely reason-would be good.
.
Like Gossip Girl is in its first season and it won’t be back until November?
.
these are shorter shows, too, wouldn’t they film an entire season and be able to air it w/o months in between? is it just pure economics?

Ok. Thanks!
Good news and be good to see Hurley back, or would be if they would ever tell us who is showing this in the UK and when! All Dean Devlin has revealed as yet is that someone has picked it up but no confirmation of anything else so far.
.
Hopefully though if this carry on we can get a few others back again like Jeri Ryan, Clayne Crawford, Wil Wheaton (needs to be an episdoe with Hardison!), Adam Baldwin or Richard Chamberlain. Not sure either Maggie or Sterling would fit with no Nate though.
Two good old boys, behind the wheel, chasing down bad guys in Lucille.
I loved that scene…
LOL. I was just singing that two nights ago!
I re-watched all the series! Love it!
October can’t come soon enough!!! I loved the first 8 and can’t wait for the second half!! PLEASE PLEAS PLEASE IMDB/Amazon renew this for many more seasons!! I am so HYPED!! LETS GO STEAL MANY MORE SEASONS!!
Still waiting for the first half in the UK *sighs in foreign*
I hope they continue more seasons of Leverage: Redemption. This a great series – full of suspense and humor. I loved the first Leverage and was so excited to see the remake!
Leverage redemption is a great comeback. It only needs Nate and since his legal issues appear to be bogus he needs to be written back in and many seasons added!
I would so love for them to bring back Mark Shepard’s Sterling character. I know he was tied to Nate but he also has history with all the characters and his scenes with Elliot are priceless! I’ve always been a fan of Mr. Sheppard in all his series and since he isn’t in a lot of doom patrol currently I’m hoping he would have time to do an arc in Leverage
Just watched all 16 episodes. Love, love this show!! Hopefully season 2 is in the works.
