Raven’s Home for a third season: Disney Channel has renewed the Raven-Symoné comedy and upped consultant Eunetta T. Boone to showrunner for the upcoming run, our sister site Deadline reports.
Production is currently underway on Season 3, which is slated to premiere in 2019. (TVLine’s Cable Renewal Scorecard has been updated with the news.)
“[Eunetta is] the ideal leader to bring on board as we begin the third season of this well-loved Disney Channel show,” said Nancy Kanter, executive vice president of content and creative strategy for Disney Channels Worldwide. “We look forward to having her partner with Raven and the talented cast and crew to elevate it even further as a series kids and families can’t wait to watch.”

Which of today’s TVLine Items piques your interest?
Raven’s Home needs a new show runner, they aren’t tackling the serious issues that That’s So Raven did, Chelsea has been missing in over half the episodes, they aren’t playing the nostalgia factor enough which is the only reason this show exists, and they totally wasted her dad coming back. Season 1 had way more callbacks to That’s So Raven, they need her mom and Cory back, and I wanna know if Cory in the House is canon.
I agree. Season 2 has been terrible. The show has gotten way too silly. Too much focus on the Nia and Baxter and their obnoxious friends at the kids school. What happened to Chelsea? I feel like Tess has less screen time this season. Victors guest appearance was a waste. Your right about the serious issues. That’s so Raven delt with smoking, racism, body image in the media, foster care. Ravens Homes plots have been childish fluff for the most part. Hopefully the new showrunner for Season 3 improves the show.
Tess has had less screen time you’re correct. I just want it to respect the original series like Girl meets world or Fuller house, they brought back countless original cast members, continued storylines, That’s So Raven left so many story threads handing and so did the spin off Cory in the House. It deserves better than Raven’s Home hasn’t given us.
Season 2 said where Chelsea was in just call me Vic. Chelsea has a job now
Chelsea has finally got a job – teaching young entrepreneurs for two months at a cruise ship in the Caribbean.
The show had to make it look like Chelsea was gone for 2 months
Then in the dr Sleevemore arch Chelsea was with college friends in Las Vegas.
Plus I think Anneliese during that time was probably doing another project I think she was doing 5 weddings at the time.
Chelsea clearly comes back in Season 3. But the show explained where Chelsea was for Season 2.
Wow! Childish fluff from a children’s show… can you imagine? If you want to tackle the big issues, film your own after-school specials. My kids get enough politically correct indoctrination from public schools and self-appointed critics (if I’m dumb enough to let them).
excited for the renewal, but knowing Disney Raven’s Home might have one more season..
Yeah but if that one more season does well enough it could get a Season 4 since Season 4 wouldn’t be until 2020.
My name is Tyler,I play and I’m a great singer.I’m 13 and I live in New York,Queens.I will be honoured if you will choose me for this amazing show☺🙏
