Christina Aguilera will not be silenced.
Despite reports to the contrary, The Voice exec producer Mark Burnett says that the singer-turned-judge/mentor will not be vacating her big red swivel chair in Season 2 of the singing competition. “Christina is absolutely staying. She is not going anywhere, 100 percent,” Burnett tells E! Online.

So excited to hear about Ken Kercheval’s return to Dallas. Now summer 2012 needs to hurry up and get here!
Having Nikki Newman back is great news! I just hope good stories come with her.
I CANNOT WAIT FOR NIKKI TO GET BACK! VICTORIA,NICK, AND VICTOR ALL ARE BETTER WHEN SHE’S THERE! I DON’T LIKE THE NEW ACTRESS, GENEVEVE, (SHE’S A SMART ALEC, AND NASTY) THIS ACTRESS WAS HIRED WITH THE MONEY (BIG MONEY) THAT COULD HAVE BEEN USED TO PAY THE ONES WE ALREADY LIKE AND ARE LOYAL TO! I DON’T LIKE HER SMIRK,VOICE, OR HER ROLE HERE!! SHE’S TOO OVER THE TOP FOR A SOAP!!
AGAIN, I AM SOOOO HAPPY NIKKI IS COMING BACK! KATHERINE MISSES YOU AND YOU’RE SOOO GOOD FOR VICTOR!! WE ALL THINK AND HOPE THAT VICTORIA IS PREGNANT WITH BILLY’S BABY! THAT’S WHAT WE’RE ALL HOPING FOR ANYWAY!!!
It seems like every day someone gets a “major arc” on American Horror Story. Which, to me, is a signal to start worrying about Ryan Murphy having too many characters on one of his shows again. Dear Ryan: Stop.
Agreed
I’d really rather hear that rumors of Christina’s exit are confirmed rather than false, but oh well…
This just means her contract won’t be renewed & this season will be her last.
Glad Christina is staying. She’s one of my favorites!
