We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about lotsa shows including Evil, Doctor Who, The Traitors and Alec Baldwin‘s new reality series.
1 | How different would the end of Netflix’s Eric have been if Yuusuf, and then Vincent, and then Edgar hadn’t all been passing by a TV at precisely the right moment?
2 | How did Doctor Who’s Lindy go from walking (repeatedly) into lampposts to sprinting down winding stairwells with Ricky September, all in a matter of, like, a minute?
3 | OK, Mike Flanagan fans: Has anyone figured out the Fall of the House of Usher Easter Egg he’s referring to here?
4 | As lovely as All American’s tribute to the late Kamar de los Reyes was, don’t you wish the show had given even the subtlest explanation for Coach Montes’ absence in recent weeks? (He was missing from his own team’s championship game, and no one even said why!)
5 | On Hulu’s Clipped, what’s more remarkable: that Petri Hawkins Byrd (of Judge Judy fame!) is co-starring as a Clippers assistant coach, or that he looks a lot more like the real Doc Rivers than Laurence Fishburne does?
6 | Isn’t Alec and Hilaria Baldwin‘s just-announced TLC reality series an odd move for two people who, for years, have publicly complained about cameras invading their family’s private life? And how especially artificial will this reality series seem, presumably ignoring the “reality” that Alec is facing charges of involuntary manslaughter for the 2021 shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the movie Rust?
7 | With all the divorce drama swirling around The Valley’s finale — two of the show’s couples split up after the season wrapped — how could Bravo deprive us of the reunion we all need and deserve?
8 | The Traitors fans: Who would you choose to be traitors from the Season 3 cast? Is Tom Sandoval too on the nose? And won’t Boston Rob just get voted off immediately, whether he’s a traitor or a faithful?
9 | Why’d The Voice go and announce its Season 27 coaching panel (featuring the return of Adam Levine) so soon? Why not let folks be excited about Season 26 coaches Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé for a while?
10 | Did anyone have “Golden Globe winner and Academy Award nominee Paul Giamatti starring in a Hostel TV series” on their Peak TV bingo card?
11 | Has it dawned on anyone else that Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars — which this season pits Team Ramsay vs. Team Vanderpump in hawk-this-item! challenges, leading to a “boardroom”-like firing — is now old-school The Apprentice?
12 | Why did Criminal Minds: Evolution’s JJ use the drawer to give Voit the case file, when the openings between cell bars are RIGHT THERE?
13 | We’re willing to accept that Pretty Little Liars’ Greg is the cousin of Riverdale’s Kevin, but we have to wonder — when is the last time Greg talked to his supposed family member? Does he know that Kevin, along with the rest of his town, was transported back to the 1950s via the magic of a comet? And wouldn’t that now make Kevin much older than Greg in 2024? Possibly even dead?
14 | First, Melissa Roxburgh RSVPs for NBC’s Hunting Party, then Jensen Ackles signs on to star in Prime Video’s Countdown…. Is Tracker going to be forced to recast Colter Shaw’s siblings in Season 2?
15 | Will this week’s Evil have you thinking twice about your breakfast bacon this weekend?
16 | How far into this week’s Walker were you before you realized Cordell was MIA?
17 | The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol, Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story… can we agree that if a TV show title has a colon and a dash, it’s much too long?

6. They need the money for the lawsuits that are coming… And lack of jobs for Alec. Yeah, it will be interesting if the show does make it to the air. Pending the results of his upcoming trial next month. And whether it will have any acknowledgement of the charges.
That Episode of Evil felt like a 20min rushed episode, netflix needs to save it
Unfortunately, I don’t think they can save it. I’m pretty sure the Kings have an exclusive contract with CBS/Paramount. I’m at least happy they have them 4 more episodes to wrap it up.
4 – They did explain the absence of Coach Montes in an earlier game. They said he was calling plays from the booth which some coaches prefer because of their view of the field.
6 – The Alec Baldwin thing is gross on many levels.
They actually said he was in the box because he had pneumonia.
Re: Baldwin
Gotta pay those attorney fees!
I thought they said Coach Montes was calling the game from the press box.
12. Have you not seen Invincible? I was even worried with the drawer for a second that the prisoner can be quick enough (and Voit would be) to grab her arm while she was handing the file, knock her unconscious against the bars and chance she either has keys or in the emergency response he can escape.
9 | I suspect it’s because people weren’t too thrilled with the season 26 judging announcement.
#6- It was surprising to hear the ever publicity shy Baldwin’s have a show since most networks shy away from any kind of trial, let alone an involuntary manslaughter one.
#9- Wished NBC would have kept season 27 under wraps since in my book Snoop Dogg is the better of the two between him and Levine.
But if the Voice is filming the auditions soon for the spring cycle it might have been leaked anyway.
#9. Michael Bulue is the only reason I will watch next season. Only other time I watched was when Billy Gilman was a contestant.
Love Billy Gilman!
15 – Absolutely nothing can spoil bacon for me.
2 – The lamp post collisions probably started a quick learning routine in her brain that later kicked in.
6. Every reason you can think of for Alec and Hilaria Baldwin‘s new show being a terrible idea is also a reason that people will watch it. Reality TV lives on controversy, and hate-views are still views.
9: Re: The Voice. Perhaps A) Adam Levine and his people insisted on the early announcement wince it likely affects his Maroon 5 concert tour schedule. Or B) The Voice wanted to beat American Idol to the punch with a big coaching/judging talent announcement. Everyone is waiting for Idol to name Katy Perry’s replacement (rumors of JLo abound) and The Voice wanted to get some headlines before that announcement is made.
6. The only possible explanation for the Baldwin reality show that I can see (other than money) is that by doing it, they get some control of the narrative. Still won’t watch though.
6: In addition to the ick of it all, I’m wondering if “Hilaria” is going to put on the fake Spanish accent she was using, or is that too many controversies ago?
I think we learnt a few years ago Hilaria Baldwin has little interest in reality so why would the networks?
6) Very poor timing for this show.
17) Yes.
13 Kevin isn’t “possibly” dead in 2024. The finale established he is.
2. It did seem a little fast, but it’s not like Lindy didn’t know how to walk/run, she was just used to following directions to do so. Ricky helped her acclimate quickly – first with voice commands, then with holding her hand, then by running ahead of her so all she had to do was follow. So it was probably more similar to switching from driving on the right to driving on the left side of the road, or relearning how to ride a bike after years of not doing so.
Maybe Baldwin is tired of how he’s portrayed in the media and wants to show a different side of himself.
Plus, he has a lot of kids. Not going to blame him for finding a way to make some money.
16 >> I think Walker gets whacked on the back of the head by a bad guy more than Mannix did
I sure hope they wrap up the Jackal storyline next week
TLC should be ashamed they even gave the green light to those people with no shame. Hilary is so beyond thirsty I still remember when Alec asked his Instagram followers to go follow his wife so she could reach 1 million for her birthday. That’s what their concern is during all of this?!?!? Not to mention his wife got caught up in her lies and the public knows and he looks bad for going along with it. I hope it does poorly in the ratings.
I watched The Valley and I won’t watch the second season. None of them are interesting and some come off as desperate for attention. Clearly Jax never changed & I don’t know who was naive enough to believe otherwise. Zack is the most annoying though.
#14 – maybe Cotler just stays out of contact, or possibly there is something in their contracts for those shows about appearing occasionally in Tracker.
3) I don’t think there is an easter egg. he just wants people to rewatch the show for the views lol.
Did anyone watch the first two episodes of Criminal Minds and wonder how many episodes will the newest FBI director live? Clark Gregg has a lot of experience playing characters that die.
