Ladies and gentlemen, meet your new Jim and Pam. These two adorkable educators have been circling each other in an exquisitely excruciating slow burn all year long, with Janine first saddled with loser boyfriend Tariq and Gregory now busy with girlfriend Amber. But we all know these two are perfect for each other — and they seem to know it, too, judging by that steamy grind session on the hookah bar’s dance floor. We want them to get together, don’t get us wrong… but we’re kind of enjoying the wait. (Don’t make us wait too long, though!)
Ugh pairing Conrad and Billie together is going to make me watch this show after it airs to FF. I cannot stand the two of them.

I do not understand the people shipping Billie and Conrad. It just feels forced, and there is no chemistry there. Billie has so much more chemistry with AJ. Hell Conrad has more chemistry with AJ than him and Billie do. Conrad and Billie just feels forced to me.
That was an interesting list. I just thought that since two couples from two shows of The CW were able to make it here (one unfortunately a victim from that senseless bloodbath of the buyout to fracking Nexstar) that perhaps I’d find Stargirl’s own slow-burn ship (that has also wrapped it’s run thanks to the “priorities” Nexstar has) of Courtney and Cameron aka Camney also be mentioned here considering all of what they went through in Season 3 so they could finally be together by the end. Bummer. D:

For the shows that I watch, this is a great list. Still really upset about Rollins leaving, but glad that she got a happy ending. And the Nigel/Isaac pairing was genius – their little moments delight. Relatedly, TVLine is always good about this, but extra appreciation for highlighting diverse representation. Love seeing two same-sex couples in the header photos!

Joyce/Hopper probably didn’t count as a true couple for the last season of Stranger Things, but hoping to see them on a future list.
Even though it had heartbreaking ending, I loved Hawkins and Violet from Chicago Fire. They will go down as one of my all time favorite Chicago Fire ships.

Thony and Arman from The Cleaning Lady are not on this list. Even though they aren’t official yet, they deserve a slot.
Thony and Arman from season 1, absolutely. Thony and Arman from season 2, not so much. All that sizzling chemistry from season 1 was totally absent in season 2. Not the actors fault, there were just way too many storylines and characters this season and IMO the quality of the show really suffered. If they do get picked up for season 3, I hope they go back to the formula that worked so well in season 1.
My favorite couple-to-be is Lucy & Tim on The Rookie.
My least favorite is Lucy & Kate on NCIS Hawaii. I am not anti-gay by any means, but they are completely unnecessary & boring.
My biggest problem with them is they keep interrupting the storyline to make sure they have their time outs at least 3 or 4 times during the show. ( And that goes for any couple)
Lucy and Tim can be good if it’s outside work time. I like that Jane tells Captain Joe to keep his mind on the job if he tries to flirt at work. Like them together though.
Hated Scott and Kellett on NCIS International. They actually opened the series with them in bed and he was her boss. Definitely sending the wrong message in this day and age.
It’s harder to write a relationship into a procedural than other dramas. That’s why it’s done the way you described.
Still, fans love Kacy for the representation and the fact that it can be a part of the storyline.
“Unnecessary and boring” is exactly the way I see all of NCIS: Hawaii.
I just find that they push them on us too much, unlike any of the other character’s love life. We like the show but we don’t watch it for the romance.
Carisi deserves better. Kanthony for the heat but Jess & Jimmy for the sweet. Somewhere someone said that Jimmy has become the heart of NCIS and it’s true.
No Kim and Saul, C’mon I was devastated by the finale, I wanted them to end up together somehow, I like to think Kim continue visited him.
Everyone watching the show wanted to know why Kim is not on Breaking Bad, and they manage to give them a surprising yet devastating finale.

Love seeing Kacy there and how it makes the homophobes completely mad. Indeed the most unlikely pairing to come out of the NCIS franchise considering how retrograde most of the audience is. I love it.

love that you referenced Vince and Sharon from Fire Country. they’re SUCH a good pair, truly written as partners who been through a LOT and not afraid to call each other on their BS. the dynamic the two of them have with Bode too, distinct between the 2 of them but feeling really like a family.

There is no way this type of list can exist without including #tarlos. TK Strand and Carlos Reyes from 911 Lonestar. There is so much chemistry between the two. I wa so excited with engagement in the season finale last season and can’t wait for 4th season to start.

When TVLIne first started I was pleased to find that the site covered not just the most popular shows but hidden gems as well. Not so any more. The fact that you left off Louis and Lestat from Interview with the Vampire off this list, and some others as well. just boggles the mind. Why do I bother with this site anymore?

Yes to Janine/Gregory and Isaac/Nigel. I am really enjoying watching both those pairings develop on their respective shows. It’s nice to have some more new ships to root for and enjoy watching on TV!
