The Rookie: Feds was cancelled after one season. New series High Potential, starring Kaitlin Olson, has been pushed back to the fall of 2024.
Robert King said on Twitter that Elsbeth will have 10 episodes
I thought Abbott was back 2/7?
I heard there was a 1-hour season premiere on 2/7, so I assume it would return to its regular half-hour on 2/14. But since that’s not listed above, I can’t be sure. TV Line?
Looking forward to Ghosts, So Help Me Todd (#margus), and two shows not on this list that’ll be premiering, Family Law season 3 and most of all, Resident Alien season 3, yay!!!
Poor CW’s lineup of premieres is looking so anemic compared to the others. Anyone started a betting pool yet on how long till it’s scrapped/sold to the highest bidder?
Resident Alien is not a network series as it airs on SyFy. That said, I am looking forward to the shows you mentioned!
Yes I know which is why I said two shows not on this list.
The CW made a mistake by looking at the ratings for imports and game show/reality show competitions, and thought those ratings were achievable. After all, they are very cheap to produce, so even with lower than scripted ratings, you can make money with them.
.
Well, yeah. So long as you have higher rated scripted fare (or top rated sporting events) ALSO on the air so that the net can aggressively promote the imports/game shows. Without those eyeballs on the scripted shows, the unscripted stuff can’t get any traction from the outset. And if you don’t watch the first 1-2 eps of a competition show, there is no point in catching up.
.
Nexstar, or whatever their name is, is in trouble.
Tv starts to suck iam getting things in amazon
Superman & Lois is listed but can anyone tell me what TBD stands for were it says air date
To be determined
To Be Determined
To be determined as they are shooting but then they also have to put in visual effects and it’s likely going to be may or june
To be determined.
The CWs line up is looking very sad indeed!
It does! The CW was the network I watched most. Now, forget it. Only 2 shows on there now I watch and one is a final season!
Always shocking to realize how few network shows I watch now. The addition of Elsbeth will potentially raise it to… four. :-/
I’m also looking forward to Elsbeth. Hope they don’t put the two 911’s at the same time in the fall so ratings don’t go down for either show, they’re two of the few Network shows I watch although I stream them.
– The CW is sitting on AMC’s 61st Street S2 (wrapped in 2022, picked up in may 2023) which was pushed to mid-season, but scheduled Hallmark’s cancelled “Ride” for a rerun.
– No development on original series “The Librarians: The Next Chapter”.
– Canadian series “Sight Unseen” premieres sunday January 21th at 10pm on CTV after a football game, before settling to mondays 10pm. The CW hasn’t announced a premiere date yet.
– Other canadian series “Wild Cards” premieres this wednesday on The CW, exactly 1 week after CBC.
The CW has more Canadian shows now than US shows, it seems. They should just sell the network to the CBC lol.
Almost everything on the CW has been filmed in Canada for a long time.
I know, they’re foreign imports.
I think it’s been said that the mothership version of NCIS will have 10 episodes. And that they are woven together… Wilmer was quoted as saying it was 10 episodes.
Except shortly before it was 14 for the episode count. That means either they are wrapping up before may sweeps or they are skipping a few weeks unless when he says ten that some may be a two-part episode then I get why he said a 10 count. I like how the episodes wrapped into one another but I loved the meat-and-potato episodes because the individual cases give insight into the well-known lead characters. I hope they balance the two next season with 22 episodes. 10 is not worth paying $30-$40 to own the season on DVD. I hope this writers/actors strike did not screw up the show we all know and love. I look forward to season 25 and 30. It’s that good in my book.
So is Criminal Minds as we knew it gone forever?

Gonna be tricky for any shows with 13 episodes to get them all in before Memorial Day. Just barely enough weeks as it is, and there are the inevitable pre-emptions (NCAA basketball, awards shows, etc.), along with possible unexpected production delays. I’m betting most will end up with around 10 episodes unless they have a specific commitment to produce more.
All these final seasons are a little depressing! And they aren’t even shows I care that much about.
How about a calendar please? Much easier to see what’s when rather than have them in alphabetical order. Thank you!
Entitled much
I thought we might see more stuff back in January but I guess maybe the procedurals of Chicago and Law & Order might have been quicker to stand up in production post strike than others.
Transplant actually already started on Fridays on the 12th and only has 3 episodes left.
Bravo to NBC getting back on air earlier, with higher episode counts vs. major competition. Why couldn’t ABC and CBS do the same?
CSI: Vegas season 3 was originally announced as 10 episodes. Most likely the final season, as CBS sees it as a dying swan. Surprised NCIS, a well-oiled machine, is only doing the “bare minimum” of 10. Wonder why?
Final. Season i believe
Elsbeth, FBI, L&O, SVU and family guy for me :)
Bob’s Burgers returned on January 7th for just one episode. The date remaining episodes will air is still TBD.
My favorite show:The Cleaning Lady is coming back and I’m curious as to how they will explain Arman not being on the show anymore, since his portrayer Adan Canto recently passed away.
Arman was a major character on the show…
The Resident is an Awesome Series.
Just as Conrad is about to get his Happily Ever After with Billie, and AJ being a Father, etc. powers that be axe it.
Fox and CBS have a way of Canceling Good Series just as they get good.
CBS, In 2009 MoonLight, Vampire Series, it was on Friday nite, so was Football, so nobody knew when it was on, so low ratings.
Fox to many to Name, The Resident just one, and another 911. It’s on ABC now but still.
They cancel Great Dramas and put on Reality Shows. Rather have the Series less talk and Reality Shows.
911 and rockie feds coming late it’s not right tv back on the day had better shows fox should go way with nothing to show of interest 😒
Disappointed that ABC cancelled Rookie:Feds and CBS didn’t bring back East New York . These were good shows
When will Ghosts UK return?

What is taking so long for The CW to put out their premiere dates? Every other network has theirs out.
Have episode counts been updated beyond these 10-12 and 10-13 estimates?
