How much does The Way Home‘s Del really know about the pond? Or has she definitely been in the dark this whole time? –J.D.
“That’s something that is going to be looked at a lot closer, under a bigger microscope, in Season 3,” co-showrunner Alexandra Clark told TVLine. “In a weird way, even at the top of our Season 1 writers’ room, we always did think that Season 1 was really a journey for Alice and bringing her family back together, but also finding herself. Season 2 is really the story of Kat and her quest to find Jacob and bring him home. So we do really love the idea of putting Del a little bit more under the microscope in a Season 3, because we know who she is, but we don’t. If you actually really look at it, there’s a lot under the surface that we have yet to really mine.”
Any information on The Rig Season 2? It feels like forever since Season 1 wrapped. –Josh
I am hearing that Season 2 of the supernatural thriller wrapped filming and is currently in post-production, to premiere Stateside on Prime Video possibly by early 2025.
There is this fabulous Danish show on Netflix called Rita, which Showtime was planning on remaking and had even cast Lena Headey as the lead character. The last we heard of it was about four years ago when the pilot was being developed, but it’s been quiet since. With all the changes at Showtime, is the show dead now, or did that happen long ago? –Denis
You answered your own question there — a rigorous Googling tells me that Headey’s Rita indeed died on the vine more than two years ago.
Elsbeth ex husband (“Mike Tascioni”) was played by Will Patton over 4 episodes in the final season of The Good Wife.
Good catch; added.
Loving “Presumed Innocence”! The character’s name is Rusty, not Jake though.
Thanks for the catch; fixed!
Why would anyone want more smoking on a show? I don’t get why they act like this is something daring or edgy it is just dumb and unappealing to me.
My sentiments exactly. It’s a well known fact that smoking is really bad for you so I don’t see why people are clamoring to see that. Unless they’re not and the showrunner just wants us to think that. Which also makes no sense.
I don’t think anyone is trying to make it seem edgy or daring. They’re showing Prentiss’ state of mind, stress, and agitation through her smoking. It’s just a symptom of what she’s going through. Honestly, I’m just glad they don’t have her downing a bottle of wine every episode.
Agreed. It’s stinky and gross and unbefitting of a team leader. It’s 2024. Seriously, who smokes these days?!?
I recently rewatched most of the Elsbeth episodes of The Good Wife and The Good Fight…..it would be fun for her to share some scenes with Kyle Machlaclan some time on Elsbeth. They were fun.
Sorry if I spelled his name incorrectly there. He and Carrie were so quirky together.
Let’s be honest, we all know by now that The Rookie will give us about 4 gimmick episodes minimum and continue dragging out the dodgy lawyer plotline same as they did with Elijah.
New ideas are needed for this quality cast – especially more from Lopez & Harper.
Get the bodycam episodes in the bin.
I lasted a few episodes into Season 6 and decided to stop after they broke-up Chenford. Tim was so out of character with his “issues,” that it put me off of the show. I’m hesitant to watch again and will just stream it once it’s all done. So, in my mind, it ended after season 5. For now, I discovered “Poldark” and am enjoying streaming that series.
Poldark was great on PBS and I saw Aiden Turner has a new show… I watched FBI Intl at first because Heida Reed(Elizabeth) was in it.. Fun that Judge in newer Poldark was played by actor who was Poldark in the 70s edition…
Speaking of Christian Kane – has there been any word about when Leverage- Redemption is coming back?
