BMF Renewed for Season 4 at Starz

We have seen the future, and it is rich in BMF.

Starz has renewed the drama for Season 4, TVLine has learned. The pickup comes a day ahead of the series’ Season 3 premiere, which is slated for Friday at 8/7c in the United States and 9 pm in Canada. (The episode also begins streaming at midnight Friday on the Starz app.)

“Fans can’t get enough of the history in the making that is BMF,” said Kathryn Busby, Starz president of programming, in a statement. “We’re thrilled to start working on a new season that will continue bold storytelling of the legend of the Flenory brothers that has proven to resonate so deeply with our viewers.” 

Inspired by “true legends,” BMF is the story of Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory (played by Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr.) and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory (Da’Vinchi), brothers who rose through the illegal drug trade from the depths of poverty in Detroit to the heights of fame and fortune across America.

BMF Season 3 will be set in the early 1990s, when Meech moves to Atlanta in an effort to grow the family’s empire in the South while Terry holds things down in Detroit. The season’s guest stars include musicians Dominque ‘LIl Baby’ Jones, NE-YO, 2 Chainz, Saweetie and Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Cynthia Bailey. (Watch a trailer.)
