CBS continues to prize #TheFBIs.
TVLine has learned that the Eye Network has renewed its Tuesday-night trifecta for the 2024-25 TV season.
The original FBI, in fact, has been picked up for another three seasons — through spring 2027 — while FBI: International is renewed for Season 4 and FBI: Most Wanted is renewed for Season 6.
The network on Tuesday also announced renewals for fellow procedural NCIS (Season 22) and sitcom The Neighborhood (Season 7). TVLine’s Renewal/Cancellation Scorecard has thusly been updated.
Season-to-date, FBI is averaging 9.1 million total viewers (in Live+7), making it Tuesday’s No. 1 series and TV’s third-most watched drama (trailing only CBS’ own Tracker and NCIS). Most Wanted and International meanwhile are respectively averaging 7.4 million and 7.2 million viewers, ranking second and third in total audience each Tuesday night.
The three FBI shows are veritably steady versus their previous seasons’ Live+7 numbers, and they all are in fact up a tick year-over-year when looking at their Live+35 tallies.
“The All-FBI Tuesday is a powerful force to be reckoned with on our primetime schedule,” CBS Entertainment chief Amy Reisenbach said in a statement. “Dick Wolf and the talent in front of and behind the camera on all three series continue to deliver top-notch storytelling, riveting action and intrigue that has captivated a dedicated fanbase steadily across multiple seasons. We are excited to see what next season holds for all these heroic characters.”
Added prolific producer Wolf — who last month saw five of his six NBC procedurals renewed — “Obviously, I’m thrilled by the pickups. We are all extremely grateful to [CBS CEO] George [Cheeks] and Amy [Reisenbach] and their entire team.”
CBS had previously renewed for the 2024-25 TV season Ghosts (for Season 4), Fire Country (for Season 3), and NCIS: Sydney and Tracker (both for Season 2).
Young Sheldon, Bob Hearts Abishola and S.W.A.T. are currently unspooling their farewell runs, while Blue Bloods is airing the first half of a final season that will conclude in the fall.
On the scripted side, that leaves the fates of NCIS: Hawai’i, The Equalizer, So Help Me Todd, CSI: Vegas and midseason newbie Elsbeth still TBD.

Not surprise the flagship is locked down for 3 seasons its one of CBS solid performers. International and most wanted aren’t as big which is why they only got single season renewals.
CBS is terrible about not advertising the spin-offs. They need advertised more than just on Tuesday nights. But then The Neighborhood doesn’t get advertised like it should despite being Monday’s highest rated show on CBS. If one of the spin-offs ends after next season it should be International. They never should have gotten rid of Heida Reed. Most Wanted has its best cast in awhile with Shantel VanSanten replacing Alexa Devalos.
Agreed! The original FBI is still going strong! Until this season, I actually like International better than Most Wanted. However, the current Most Wanted cast is quite compelling, while something is sorely lacking this season on International. The International cast is simply not very cohesive this season.
Thank you. I thought I was losing my mind because I always liked International better than Most Wanted too until this season. You are absolutely spot on. :-)
I too like FBI International but I’m not sure what happened this year. I do agree the cast isn’t as cohesive it just somethings missing and yet it really is a good show at least in my opinion and as far as the cast on Most Wanted , absolutely I agree!!
I miss Jess and the relationship he had with the team, but think Remy is an excellent replacement. I still like International and I was ok with Jamie’s character bowing out. I do like Cam but sometimes I think the writers forget she went to West Point. I like the new tech woman. LOVE the OG. Am a Missy Peregrym fan for life.
This week’s Jubal crossover on International annoyed me because it was all about Rina – he needed to throw in that Vargas held Elyse hostage with a necklace bomb too!!! (I heard him say “what he did to my team – to Rina” and I did not find that sufficient, lol!)
Also someone tell Dick Wolf that his writers just copied and pasted OC’s Bell from FBIMW Barnes. Black, lesbian, married to a lawyer, having babies, wife doesn’t understand the job etc etc
Awesome. More of Mr. Hottie, OA on FBI.
I watch FBI: Most Wanted, and I’m glad to hear it is renewed, I’m keeping my fingers crossed on The Neighborhood, so Help Me Todd, Equalizer and Elsbeth getting the green light as well. 🤞
Elsbeth’s early returns have been great. Another 2 weeks at or near the current numbers and it will get renewed.
.
I love Todd, and am hopeful it gets renewed. Frankly, the continued success of Elsbeth is great for it, as they are natural fits alongside one another.
It’s just a matter of when the logical endgame of a MegaCrossover between the three Dick Wolf Shared Universe Franchises (the FBIs, One Chicago, and Law & Order) will happen now.
That won’t happen with airing on competing broadcast networks.
Eh it could. Chicago PD crossed over with FBI a few years ago.
That was a one way crossover. FBI storyline did not continue onto Chicago P.D. This was one of Missy Peregrym’s maternity leaves before Nina existed, they needed a temporary replacement. I am glad more hasn’t happened, couldn’t stand that PD cop.
It proves the crossover can happen though despite being on competing networks.
I mean the Arrowverse’s Crisis on Infinite Earths Crossover had Tom Ellis’ Lucifer appear in it despite his Series streaming on Netflix and Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen Flash cameo despite that Iteration being a Theatrical Exclusive. It can happen.
No surprise here. FBI remains a compelling watch. I do not stay for International or Most Wanted. Naybe those spunoffs are just as hood, but ine FBI is enough for a night. I am not a fan of these spinoff evenings that seem in vogue today.
Most Wanted is good. International is hit and miss.
It partially happened once between Chicago PD and FBI. It could happen again. The biggest issue facing a mega crossover is too many doppelgangers due to reused actors. A crossover between Law &Order: OC and F.B.I. Most Wanted would be especially problematic.
^^This was meant to be a reply to Ben.
Considering Law & Order: OC hasn’t gotten a renewal, the next best thing would be to incorporate Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent into the mix to keep it a Nine Episode Crossover event.
People really like these bland procedural drama? There just so basic. Nothing creative about them. Nothing enveloped pushing. Nothing but the same tired nonsense for years and years.
Agreed. I watched with my elderly in-laws (clearly the target audience), but find these procedures to be a bore.
Not happy about changes
Blue Bloods is excellent💙
Your Cancelling programs. amazes me 🤬
WHY! All the shows are good??????
FBI Shows are GREAT… any change with those
NBC here I come
What’s wrong with you CBS
So Dick Wolf is currently 8 out of 9 on renewals. I’d be shocked if L&O: OC didn’t get picked up. Not sure what the delay there is, though I do vaguely remember reading that the current season was going to be a “short” season even BEFORE the strikes made everything that way.
On one horn, it’s sort of troubling that one guy controls three nights of network TV programming…. but on the other horn, any one of those 9 shows beats the unholy crap out of any so-called “reality” show.
3 guaranteed seasons renewal is crazy. Must be a Dick Deal, as NCIS can’t even get a two-season renewal from CBS.
Hardly anyone is guaranteed the next 3 years of steady work, especially not in “da biz”, but the FBI main cast are.
Well, that makes me very happy.
the original FBI is the best .
FBI is hit and Miss something I get lost in the episodes and sometimes
i go to sleep !!
FBI Most Wanted like the original cast on show better
Glad about FBI renewal. Sad about Blue Bloods. If BB was down in ratings I could see why it would end but it is tops all the time and I think CBS will be so sorry about this decision. Really disappointing they couldn’t come up with a little more money and keep it on. They make millions on it. Greedy.
How can you consider canceling So Help Me Todd and the Equalizer? Give Elsbeth a chance. We also watch those other shows, mostly because we watch CBS most of the time with only a couple exceptions. There isn’t much to watch lately. Too many stupid reality shows, not including The Amazing Race ( love it).
why are cancelling blue bloods, it does make sense when a fantantic show on tv maybe you blue blloods is is wonder show, please renew blue bloods, it worth waiting for Fridays night, hey blue bloods is on,that’s why Friday is special, because of blue bloods, so thing think season 15
