ABC’s share of Monday Night Football coverage this week averaged a cool 13 million total viewers and a 3.2 demo rating, up sharply from the preliminary numbers (10 mil/2.1) for last week’s season opener.
This comes on the heels of ABC adding another 10 MNF telecasts to its fall slate, to plug some holes on its strike-struck schedule.
Elsewhere on Monday…..
NBC | An American Ninja Warrior couples special drew 2.3 mil and a 0.3.
FOX | The Academy of Country Music Honors averaged 1.6 million viewers and a 0.1 demo rating.
THE CW | Son of a Critch (260K) and Children Run Everything (150K) both lost viewers week-to-week (and posted some of their smallest U.S. audiences yet), while Run the Burbs (190K) added a few eyeballs.
CBS | A rerun of The Neighborhood actually delivered the night’s largest non-sports audience: 2.4 million.

Next week’s ABC game starts at 7:15 ( Eastern) and the ESPN, ESPN 2 game starts at 8:15 ( Eastern).
Yeah, I thought the broadcast MNF game was supposed to be Saints and Panthers, but my ABC affiliate had the Steelers and Browns
