Monday Ratings: All American Posts Season High in Audience, SYTYCD Eyes Low
In the latest TV ratings, CBS’ NCIS easily drew Monday’s largest audience, while ABC’s American Idol led the night in the demo.
CBS | The Neighborhood (with 4.8 million total viewers and a 0.4 demo rating per Nielsen finals) drew its best audience since Feb. 26 and was also up in the demo; Bobishola (4.3 mil/0.3) added a few eyeballs; NCIS (6.7 mil/0.4) matched its best audience in five episodes; and the recently cancelled NCIS: Hawaii (5.1 mil/0.3) was steady in both measures.
ABC | American Idol (4.6 mil/0.5) hit a Monday high in viewers for the season, and was up in the demo.
NBC | The Voice (4.6 mil/0.3) dipped, but Deal or No Deal Island (2.5 mil/0.3) was steady.
THE CW | All American (407K/0.1) rose 11% to its largest audience of the young season.
FOX | MasterChef Junior (1.5 mil/0.3) was steady, while So You Think You Can Dance (760K/0.1) slipped to a new audience low.

What happened to the ratings for Friday night? How did Blue Bloods do against other shows?
The other shows that aired at the same time were Day 2 of the NFL draft and Dateline. It tied Dateline in the demo, and, no surprise, the Draft had the night’s biggest demo; but it did just barely beat out Fire Country for most viewers Friday
They should NOT cancel NCIS HAWAII it’s a great show I heard they said it was to expensive ( so isn’t everything ) I hope they will change their minds but I doubt if they will
I’m glad it got cancelled after cancelling NEW ORLEANS show after 7 seasons.
Extremely disappointed and annoyed about cancelation of NCIS Hawaii-once again the mighty dollar wins out over entertaining series – instead left with mindless drivel and shows inappropriate for most families. Reality shows ad nauseum or never ending cycle of reruns plus not all households can afford to pay for streaming services that may have one show of interest in a season. Executives definitely looking out more for their bonuses than the average citizens .

SWAT (4.7 mil/0.3) and Fire Country (5.1 mil/0.3) both dipped in demo, Blue Bloods (5.4 mil/0.3) was steady and as usual drew Friday’s biggest audience. ABC’s NFL Draft coverage (2.7 mil/0.6) tied Fox’s SmackDown (2.1 mil/0.6) for the demo wino.
I think it is time NBC cuts The Voice down to one edition per season. And SYTYCD should come to an end.
I’m sad the season ends next week for The Neighborhood. I wish the season was a bit longer.
Deal or No Deal Island is absolutely dragging. It was okay for the first few weeks and I was interested in it, but now I am bored by it.
I will watch until the end, but probably won’t if it ever comes back.
Some of the more interesting contestants are unfortunately now gone. Can’t believe Rob is still there. I was disappointed this week no one called Joe “Flash” when he was making an obvious Spiderman Reference.
But it appears it will be coming back as they advertised “how to apply to be a contestant” this week. I’m happy it is coming back.
I’ve enjoyed Bobashola since the beginning. But the last few episodes have been really hard to watch. Limping to the finish line.
Ill never understand why they would cancel NCIS Hawaii!!! I understand budget, but think about all the cast members who moved there, and allthe people who worked on the show.
I for one will miss he interaction of this show, and, not sure if I’ll continue to watch the other as much as I like it. Why take shows off that are so good and interesting to watch to put dumb and insensitive shows on! who are you trying to attract? Mindless people who don’t want to think!

760K/0.1 for Dance….. about the same for a new Simpsons. Fox execs are morons wasting their money and time for not-watched crap. Maybe The CW CAN live on for another 40 years following Fox’s business model. Morons.

I really like. NCIs Hawaii it’s one of my favorites. The only scenes I do not like is the two women kissing. Those scenes can be deleted PLEASE!! Elite Members stink. I am not impressed,
NCIS Hawaii was too expensive to produce so it was cancelled? Really? I think that it was sacrificed for NCIS Sydney and NCIS Origins, which will likely take place 35 / 40 years ago. Will those 2 shows be that cheaper to produce? Broadcast Network TV never fails to disappoint.
Love NCIS Hawaii. The writing of stories was so good. Then the acting made it all worth it. Love the show and so disappointed it was cancelled 😢

We finally have the first female lead NCIS (Hawaii) and you cancel?? But female lead NCIS (Sydney) is okay? So you’re going to swap out one for the other, NOT good! Surely you can find something else to cancel, or move to another day.
i am so disappointed that CBS has cancelled NCIS Hawaii after only three seasons!?? It was well written, located in a beautiful island, with superb actors who inhabited their characters so well. They cancel it to make way for a new NCIS on young Jethro? Really? Cancel the original NCIS instead after twenty good years. The stories there are getting weaker and the great actors have left. The almighty dollar dominates the decisions again. Bring back NCIS Hawaii for another season at least, as they did for Magnum PI.
I think the way CBS handled the cancellation of NCIS Hawaii was disgraceful. It was a great show and could have been saved. I will no longer be watching this Network.
