In the latest TV ratings, CBS’ NCIS finale was Monday’s most-watched show, and landed in a six-way tie for the nightly demo win.
CBS | The Neighborhood (with 5 million total viewers and a 0.4 demo rating) added a few eyeballs with its season finale, while Bob Hearts Abishola‘s series finale (4.9 mil/0.4, average TVLine reader grade “A”; watch cast video) drew a best-since-season premiere audience and also rose in the demo. NCIS‘ season finale (6.8 mil/0.4, TVLine reader grade “A-,” read Katrina Law Q&A) delivered its largest audience in six episodes, and NCIS: Hawai’i‘s unplanned series finale (TVLine reader grade “B”) rose 7% to its biggest audience since the season premiere (5.41 mil) while also scoring its first 0.4 rating in six episodes.
NBC | The Voice (5.3 mil/0.4, read recap) ticked up in both measures, and Deal or No Deal Island (3 mil/0.3) drew its second-largest audience to date.
THE CW | All American (464K/0.1) rose to a season high in audience.
FOX | MasterChef Junior (1.4 mil/0.2) was down, while So You Think You Can Dance (783K/0.1) added eyeballs.
ABC | Jeopardy! Masters drew 4.3 mil and a 0.4, followed by Celeb Wheel‘s 2.6 mil/0.3.

The Live+Same Day numbers reported in TVLine’s daily-ish ratings column do NOT reflect a television program’s overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. These numbers (Nielsen fast nationals, unless specifically denoted in bold as finals) instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives. Steve Harvey is not a judge or lawyer and merely offers an alternative forum of dispute resolution.
Yet deal or no deal gets renewed while a well written show with almost twice the viewers and a diverse cast is axed. Oh network television you make us all proud
Well said!
Deal or no Deal probably cost 20% of NCIS HI to produce. Maybe less.
.
So Deal or no Deal might be 2-3 times more profitable than NCIS HI.
In the short run….but that is the exec’s interest.
Correct, this why there are so many game shows and reality shows vs. network script shows. Its all about the Benjamins!!
Like having a « diverse cast » is quality in itself. It’s a good thing networks get over that ridiculous logic.
cbs alienated so many ncis hawaii fans – so they could keep their schedule “fresh” with recycled characters who have already had their stories told.
i wonder why they won’t shop it around tho – there’s marketing money to be made in a valuable demographic and built in die-hard audience. it could be a win for a streaming platform or another network – a win for fans – a win for the ncis universe – a win for the production staff in hawaii – seem obvious.
CBS doesn’t care about their viewers.
We’ll show them how we feel when we make sure Origins tanks next season.
Add me to the list of people who are hoping Origins tanks!
Instead of thinking about tanking viewership for an upcoming show, write to/tweet at CBS advertisers and let them know you’re no longer supporting their products because they support an entity that canceled a TV show with a diverse cast.
There’s still a chance the show can be brought back if enough people raise a ruckus and speak up in the right channels.
Another NCIS show to get cancelled. Just dont know why I bother watching and becoming a fan of shows only to have them cancelled.
Why was it even necessary to cancel NCIS: Hawaii, or LA for that matter.
Been using my DVD/CD player to watch all the great shows that are behind me. The future for TV blows, just blows.
I am beyond angry with CBS! This is disgraceful!
I really enjoy NCIS: Hawaii. I would love to see it picked up by someone else. I know it didn’t happen for LA or NOLA. But it was a good series. Thanks to all of the actors and writers.
How come there hasn’t been any for Friday night ratings for the past two weeks?
Because they have been coming in days late, and at a certain point it gets confusing to report Friday ratings on, like, Monday afternoon. Is there a specific question/concern I can help with…?
Blue Bloods, please.
Blue Bloods drew 5.16 million viewers (its second-smallest audience of the season) and a season-low 0.25 demo rating
Thanks 😊
Fans of NCIS H, Blue Bloods, will ensure CBS does not keep its No Network status!
The suits have angered those that matter,.fans!
I never see Sunday ratings
Why is the music so loud on all CBS shows you can not hear the dialog? Not fair to the actors who have learned their lines.
The cancelation of NCIS Hawaii was a utter mistake the show had good scripts and was done with class the women s relationship was also done with class and the actors in their in there roles were believable and to be honest I enjoyed it better then NCIS
And enjoyed NCIS Los Angeles better too
I’m old school so to me Vanessa did a great job in her role as head of NCIS Hawaii
And she had ever right to be angry as well as the rest of the cast. And if u want to get revenge don’t watch any of CBS new shows and that would hurt the network financially
Anyway wish u all the best and I’m sad to say goodbye
Let’s keep NCIS Hawaii and fire the CBS director of programming. Being a loyal veiwer, I am tired of seeing my favs canceled while crappy shows like Survivor, The Amazing Race and Big Brother returns year after year and sometimes twice a year……
BLA was a classy non insuting show. I didn’t really love it, but the leads were pleasant and had real chemistry.
What was CBS thinking when they dumped NCIS:Hawaii off its schedule.
They don’t have enough episodes to make it viable for syndication. CBS talked about having a greater variety when they already have it. You have a valuable property in all the NCIS series. They want to mix things up well do 8-10 shows for each series per year. Time for each production to do their best work and have cross over episodes as well as the regular ones. Making all the show’s more viable. They already have the audience for their shows so they should avail themselves of those numbers.
Every time I get interested in a TV show it ends up getting canceled- I done watching shows just to get them cancelled. Why is NCIS cancelled plus Blue Blood so so sad.
WTAF was the point of leaving that 5 second cliffhanger in at the end of NCIS Hawaii when it’s been cancelled? Talk about giving fans the middle finger.
Are the Live +3 Day and +7 Day ratings available for May 6? Specifically, for NCIS: Hawai’i? Why aren’t those ratings easier to find?
