The Live+Same Day numbers reported in our ratings column do not reflect a show’s overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. These numbers (Nielsen fast nationals, unless denoted as finals) instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives. This is only an exhibition, this is not a competition. Please, no wagering.
Having a hard time getting in to Not Dead Yet. I really want to like it, but it seems to be a chore getting through each episode.
Give it a few more episodes. I have read that at the fifth episode and beyond it gets better.
I’m enjoying it. I couldn’t get into home economics so I guess we’re the opposite lol
I’m really enjoying the show. I read that it gets a huge boost in streaming.
Not Dead Yet… but soon. But making Home Economics look better in comparison.
Home Ec S3 averages: 2 mil, 0.35 demo (and it hit a 0.3 five of thirteen times last fall)
Tough as Nails was a great finale. Surprised not more people are watching. So glad it got the renewal for next year. (I could be wrong, but is seems a pretty affordable show to run)
It’s a reality show. Of course it’s cheaper to produce than a scripted show. Reality TV and Game Shows are cheap.
Yes, Tough as Nails is a great show! Perfect ending last night for me. I love that no one is cast to be a villain, just great people who deserve good things.
This season of Tough As Nails DEFINITELY had a villain, but thankfully he didn’t win …
Go Jorge!!! :D
I agree. There’s something to like about every contestant and the challenges are pretty difficult. I’m worn out from watching them! I wish more people would tune into this show.
Not looking too good for Kung Fu. The Chicago troika continues to steam right along.
Very disappointing to see Kung Fu struggling. Chicago PD pulling a SD .6 demo is pretty darn good in the final hour spot.
I’m starting to lose my patience with The Masked Singer. The new format is terrible, and will they ever again invite a male performer who can actually sing and is neither a joke, nor 90+ years old and literally just there to be eliminated after an episode?
I wish Kung Fu had its earlier time slot back. CW has more viewers in the earlier hour. Flash is fading and ending anyway. I’d like Kung Fu to get another season.
The Goldbergs should have ended last season with the loss of two of its stars. The ratings drop, even though is sandwiched between two higher demo getters, clearly indicates that… perhaps Not Dead Yet should be tried out there…
It premiered in that slot and did about the same as 930
the well scene on Chicago PD was difficult to watch, i have claustrophobia and i was struggling!!!! i thought Marina Squerciati’s performance last night was really good
i gotta say despite being a loyal viewer since its premiere, these final episodes of The Flash have been so disappointing. i thought the first two episodes seemed to be filler episodes. i HATE what they’ve done to the Caitlin Snow character. Im tried of the “woe is me” storylines for Iris and im tired of everyone in the world knowing The Flash’s secret identity. Also a member of the “Justice League” (Batwoman) goes missing for months and NO ONE is notified????
And this is exactly why I quit the show 4 seasons ago during that whole Chris Klein villain storyline. it was Awful.
Okay Abbott Elementary pulling that .5 and amazing for Not Dead Yet staying steady, keep fighting for that renewal.
Well, I am sad to say it’s a RIP to Kung Fu I am thinking 75% of The CW is going to be Cancelled. Also RIP to Goldbergs and Not Dead Yet.
After looking at one episode of this season of All American, I can confirm right here and now that I have officially lost all my love and respect for the National Captioning Institute, simply because they don’t want to do scripted programs’ captions in lowercase, insisting on all-capital letters.
To all future scripted-TV-show creators and showrunners: DO NOT EVER ALLOW THE NATIONAL CAPTIONING INSTITUTE TO PERFORM YOUR CLOSED-CAPTIONING. (Yes, I used all-caps on that last sentence to satirize the idea that all-caps CC constitutes shouting.) And if Nexstar has to force AA, its Homecoming spinoff, and the 2021 version of Kung Fu to go to a different company just for cheaper lowercase CC, they would. Otherwise, you’re not going to be seeing new episodes of any of them after Spring 2024.
I’ve now lost all hope for a Kung Fu renewal – the show and its cast deserved better. Sigh.
