Law currently stars on CBS’ NCIS as Special Agent Jessica Knight, a role she first played at the end of Season 18, before being promoted to series regular for Season 19 (as part of the long-running series’ transition into a Mark Harmon-less era). Prior to NCIS, Law played Quinn Liu during the 10th (and what would be final) season of CBS’ Hawaii Five-0 reboot.
Law’s TV career began in 2001, with guest spots on Third Watch and then Reba. That was followed by an arc on the 24 “webisodes” spinoff The Rookie: CTU, and roles on Chuck, Legend of the Seeker and another web series, The Resistance. When Starz’s first iteration of the historical drama Spartacus debuted in 2010, Law was a member of the original cast, playing Mira, a slave girl who ultimately fell in love with the titular warrior. She reprised that role for Spartacus: Vengeance (aka Season 2, but with Liam McIntyre replacing Andy Whitfield, who was being treated for ultimately terminal stage IV non-Hodgkin lymphoma).
In February 2014, Law made her first appearance on The CW’s Arrow as Nyssa al Ghul, a daughter of the powerful Ra’s al Ghul; she’d reoccur on Arrow for five seasons, appearing in the series finale and also playing (a version of) Nyssa in an episode of the spinoff DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
Law’s other major TV credits include CBS’ Bill Paxton-led adaptation of the Denzel Washington/Ethan Hawke movie Training Day, Sacred Lies and The Oath.
