Navigating red carpets can be hard — even when you’re the head of The Studio.
Apple TV+ on Sunday released a timely new teaser for its forthcoming comedy starring Seth Rogen and Catherine O’Hara. The clip shows the pair’s characters arriving at a Golden Globes ceremony — a fictionalized version that takes place in the series, not the one happening Sunday at 8/7c — in disgust as influencers have completely taken over the pre-show affair. (Watch above.)
Premiering with two episodes on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 (followed by one episode every Wednesday through May 21), the series stars Rogen (Apple TV+’s Platonic) as Matt Remick, the newly appointed head of embattled Continental Studios.
“As movies struggle to stay alive and relevant, Matt and his core team of infighting executives battle their own insecurities as they wrangle narcissistic artists and craven corporate overlords in the ever-elusive pursuit of making great films,” reads the official synopsis. “With their power suits masking their never-ending sense of panic, every party, set visit, casting decision, marketing meeting, and award show presents them with an opportunity for glittering success or career-ending catastrophe. As someone who eats, sleeps, and breathes movies, it’s the job Matt’s been pursuing his whole life, and it may very well destroy him.”
In addition to Rogan and O’Hara (Schitt’s Creek), the cast includes Kathryn Hahn (Agatha All Along), Ike Barinholtz (The Mindy Project) and Chase Sui Wonders (City on Fire, Generation). Directors Ron Howard and Martin Scorsese, Bryan Cranston, Charlize Theron, Zac Efron, Anthony Mackie, Paul Dano and Zoe Kravitz also make appearances in a previously released teaser. (Watch below.)
The Studio is created by Peter Huyck and Alex Gregory (White House Plumbers, Veep), along with Rogen, Evan Goldberg and Frida Perez. Rogen and Goldberg also serve as writers, directors and executive producers. Additional EPs include Point Grey Pictures’ James Weaver, Alex McAtee and Josh Fagen.

O’Hara and Hahn make this a must-watch. I always enjoy this kind of meta show.
This is like HBO Franchise but more drama side and no mocking.
why is he pouring his own milk. they don’t do that.
Looks like an all star cast ⭐️
I love to see Canadian talent shine.
Catherine O’Hara doesn’t seem to age!
When are the studio’s going to realize that they are the ones with the power. They are the ones who are hiring actors. Have a good script. You don’t need a name to star in it. And when are they going to figure out to stop competing with streaming. And go back to the way it used to be. Where tv had a premiere week. When all the networks started their new shows on Sun. And ran them through the week. And maybe had a night off for Thanksgiving and one for Christmas. What is this winter break. When you don’t start until Oct. Dec. is to soon to be having a break.
