One of the speakers was Professor Tien-Fu Chen, Vice Chair / SIG Convener of RISC-V Taiwan Alliance. He discussed RISC-V Taiwan Alliance's research on LLMs, focusing on transitioning AI from "big data" to "big models". Efforts include creating energy-efficient, small-scale LLMs for edge computing, knowledge assistants from public datasets, product comparison tools, and automated test case generation. Future advancements aim at integrating modular AI agents for decision-driven, high-performance systems, marking a shift from text-based AI to state-driven AI workflows.
