🚀RunSpace Annual Gathering Recap🚀 🌌Last Saturday at the Annual Gathering Event, we were thrilled to welcome past competition participants and Andie Wang, the President of Taiwan Space Generation, who shared invaluable insights into promoting international exchanges within Taiwan's space industry Taiwan Space Generation (TSG) is a non-governmental association initiated by young space enthusiasts dedicated to space affairs. Its mission is to advance Taiwan's space development by uniting interdisciplinary professionals and channeling collective passion for space exploration. 💡During the event, Andie shared insights from the recently concluded #IAC2024 annual conference held in Milan, Italy. The discussion highlighted Taiwan's role in international conferences and provided valuable perspectives on engaging with the global space community, leaving us inspired by Taiwan's potential within the space sector🌍✨ In addition to TSG's perspectives on the challenges and opportunities in Taiwan's space industry, the RunSpace Innovation Challenge Organizing Team also presented highlights and memorable moments from this year's competition. The event concluded with presentations from outstanding teams showcasing their innovative projects, including: ✨Orbital Debris Cleaning: Applying magnetic field principles to adjust the trajectory or reduce the speed of space debris, aiming to solve the growing issue of space junk. ✨Radiation Protection Computing Service for Satellites: Assisting companies in evaluating product radiation resistance, paving the way for Taiwan's traditional component manufacturers to transition into aerospace-grade production. ✨Lunar Ionosphere Measurement and GNSS Evaluation via Multi-Satellite Occultation: Enhancing our understanding of the lunar ionosphere to enable precise positioning and reliable communication for lunar exploration missions. ✨Space Pharmacy: Preserving critical medications and nutrients essential for human survival to address the constraints of space and resource limitations during future missions. ✨Satellite 3D Smart Monitoring: Building a centralized visual management and analysis platform using IoT and digital twin technologies, combining data visualization with interactive capabilities. 🌌Beyond introducing their innovative concepts, the teams also shared how they've continued to refine their projects post-competition, striving to expand their reach and impact. The gathering provided a platform for in-depth discussions on Taiwan's significance and challenges within the space industry. The organizing team also had the opportunity to exchange ideas and insights with participants.
