Test houses (factories that are specialists in testing semiconductors, of which there are many across Asia) tend to run inefficiently because their engineers cannot affordably visualise and monitor avoidable inefficiencies. So when volumes increase (as inevitably they will in the next few years) these factories will have to buy new and expensive testers and handlers to keep up with the demand. On the other hand, yieldHUB will be offering them an affordable and scalable real time monitoring platform incorporating an AI recommendation system to help speed up testing. This should reduce the number of additional testers and handlers needed when test volumes increase over the next few years and hence save them a lot of money. #testhouses #testsubcons #semiconductors
