房間很乾凈，很老式的英式酒店、環境很好，可以享受Spa，早餐非常豐富，性價比高，出門到各個景點都方便

位於巴克斯頓，是一幢有着多年歷史的老建築，門前還有大片的草坪，中庭高大，很有氣派。早餐也不錯。輸入汽車牌照號可免費停車。房間較小，但走廊卻很寬敞，有點浪費了。

非常一般的酒店，像是假的4星級，不僅房間服務都低於三星水平，房間內wifi居然要收費，7磅一天。不使用付費wifi的話房間內幾乎沒有信號，經常無法連接到網絡。訂房時請加上wifi charge再考慮價格。前台只有一個人，check-in排長隊，房內沒有電話，根據房間內提供的電話號碼聯繫前台永遠沒人接。且酒店只有主樓一部老電梯，很多房間在背後副樓，電梯形同虛設需要自己搬行李上窄樓梯，訂房前請三思。

At 3pm check in, the room wasn’t ready. I was asked to wait and would be advised when it was ready. The lady forgot, and I returned to the desk to check. Around 3:50pm we were able to go to the room. For my partners birthday and one night stay, we had wasted an hour waiting for the room. It wasn’t clear from exiting the lift where our room was going to be, as the rooms numbers didn’t reach the our room number. The hotel entrance was grand and very pleasant, with a pianist playing in the evening. The room walls were awfully thin, as we found out. The breakfast was very good, with a great selection and quality of the food. The location was perfect, to walk to the sightseeing spots and local amenities. Left disappointed by the customer service on arrival.

I regularly stay at this hotel. It's perfectly located close to the Pavilion Gardens, town, very close to train station and bus stops. I haven't experienced any service or food at the hotel. I find it very relaxing and comfortable. Its decor and fittings have seen better days. Oddly the condition of fixtures and fittings, hot water availability and WiFi signal weakness have all got worse since the extensive refurbishment and room prices have doubled. It's usually quiet for sleeping, but on this stay I was on the mezzanine floor and the door slamming, toilet flushing and shower running from surrounding rooms were very loud.

The hotel is advertised as 4 star. But it is antiquated, poorly maintained, and worn. The staff are lovely, but the rooms are outdated, there is noise transferance, our sink was cracked… and only one bath towel was provided for two guests! Breakfast coffee was via sachet- a custom which died 20 years ago. Breakfast fruit was all from a tin. Toast selection consisted of white or brown basic bread. Selection of foods highly limited for a good hotel. This hotel survives by booking coach tours. It will not attract repeats.

Good range of facilities (although I did not use all of them). I travelled to the hotel by bicycle and the staff were able to put the bike in a secure room in the hotel which was good. It might be useful for the hotel to invest in a separate secure bike garage of some sort.

Lovely hotel. Nice and clean staff were great helped us move rooms when asked due to partner struggling withy he stairs. Would recommend

Great location and parking but unfortunately no free wifi. Staff friendly snd room was very comfortable and warm.

I booked one night price at £145 but actually was charged for £177. Now I don’t know how to get the money back.

Lovely hotel, great location and surroundings, convenient to shops, restaurants and places of interest. Car park, gym and swimming pool available with extra fee.
