Classico hostal madrileño, all'interno di un palazzo storico a due passi da Gran Via. Le camere sono abbastanza nuove, la doccia addirittura senza la tendina cosa che ho apprezzato. La signora alla reception simpaticissima e gentile, eravamo in 8 ed è riuscita a sistemarci tutti con letti separati, come richiesto al momento della prenotazione. Pulizia giornaliera molto buona. Come già detto in precedenti recensioni, si trova in una zona di movida quindi la notte c'è parecchio movimento in strada. Se però andate a dormire tardi dopo aver fatto fiesta, come abbiamo fatto noi, si dorme bene (al massimo portatevi due tappi).

The room conditions at the hotel where I stayed with my family were normal; after all, one cannot expect more for the price paid. However, there was no mention of the nightclub located underneath the hotel, and due to the incessant noise that lasted until 7 a.m., which sounded as if people were partying inside our room, we couldn't sleep. As a result, when we wanted to cancel the second night and change hotels, we were told to write directly to the booking platform without any assistance. Furthermore, in the response sent from the hotel to the booking platform, they claimed that the reservation was made for a child of 5 years old, but we arrived with our 10-year-old child (they couldn't have missed the birthdate in the passport). How can such a lie be told, it's unbelievable. The staff, using the excuse of not knowing a single word of English, can do as they please. In response to their rude remarks, such as 'If you want to listen to bird sounds, don't stay in the city center,' I can only say that we stayed at another hotel, just 200 meters away and on the main street, for the second night and didn't hear any noise at all. My only advice is to never stay at this hotel.
