Stayed at the Ariya as part of our tour package. Hotel was very nice. Room was so spacious and was like a suite. It was very clean and seemed well cared for. The hotel is located slightly outside of the downtown of Thimphu, but was a very quiet and we found it to be a fine location. The dining staff was so friendly and really went above and beyond to take care of us. Food was good, a lot of Indian influence, however all tasty food and very fresh. Spa was very nice. I got a massage during our stay and it was very relaxing and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend!

its a great place to stay in thimphu.. the staffs are very friendly and very very polite !! the service was great.. the suite that i was staying in was very very spacious !! my room had a great view also.. the only negative point about my stay was the flow of water in the bathroom..it was too slow..

Ariya hotel at Thimphu was the best in bhutun. The ambience, spacious rooms, food was all excellent. I recommend strongly for all travellers to stay at Ariya hotel. Though we stayed for a short time

Our tour group spent 3 nights here. Our room, 308, was very large. Breakfasts were simple fare and not much selection. Dinners were buffets, but overall the food was okay. The young men that work in the dining room were super friendly. The hotel was practically a ghost town during our stay. We only saw one other couple. Great view of the Big Buddha from our room window. It’s lite up at night.

A very good Hotel though little away from the main busy areas. Rooms are spacious. In fact there are suits and rooms though there is not much difference in the tariff. It is worth staying in the suits.

It is a good hotel, they have great breakfast, good dinner, staff is nice and friendly, room is really good. Heather and wifi did not work very well while I was staying there, but still, very nice hotel to stay.
