🎉 #YearInReview: We trained 90 parliamentarians from Ethiopia, Uganda, and Zambia on Scorecard tools for Accountability and Action, including RMNCAH, nutrition, community, malaria, and NTD scorecards. ALMA is committed to the continued empowerment of leaders with the knowledge and skills to advocate for increased health investments for improved health outcomes.

🎉 #YearInReview: With the support of ALMA, the NTD Scorecard for Accountability and Action expanded to a total of 22 countries across #Africa. This powerful tool enables countries to track their progress, identify areas for improvement, and work towards both national and global NTD elimination targets, including those on the WHO NTD Roadmap.

🎉 #YearInReview: From mobilising funds for antenatal care in DR Congo to private sector investment in #malaria as a business strategy in Zambia, we published 18 new best practices on the ALMA Scorecard Hub. These cases studies, cutting across #malaria, #NTDs, RMNCAH and nutrition showcase lessons from 8 countries across the continent, bringing the total number of best practices published to date to 81. 🎉 #YearInReview: Fourteen countries introduced the #malaria vaccine for the first time in 2024, joining Kenya, Ghana, and Malawi in rolling out this life-saving intervention. This expanded rollout and ongoing scale-up across #Africa marks a significant step forward in combating one of the continent’s deadliest diseases. Coupled with the deployment of new-generation mosquito nets, these advancements promise to strengthen Africa's resilience in the fight against #malaria. As we close out the year, we are elated to announce the launch of two new Malaria Youth Corps: the Benin Malaria Youth Corps and the Ghana Malaria Youth Corps! These countries join 14 others across Africa in harnessing the power of youth as change agents and key partners in advancing health and social agenda in the fight to #endmalaria by 2030. 2024 has been a phenomenal year! Through collaboration with member states, regional economic communities, national governments, #youth, partners, and donors, we have advanced advocacy for #malaria, #NTDs, #RMNCAH, primary health and #nutrition, driving progress in health service delivery to improve well-being across #Africa. FLAME Zambia's national leadership has convened in Lusaka for a full-day meeting focused on driving #malaria elimination forward. The meeting included a Malaria Scorecard Training of Trainers (ToT) session, reflections on program implementation performance, and strategic planning for 2025. With key members of the Zambia End Malaria Council , officials from the Ministry of Health's National Malaria Elimination Centre (NMEC), and ALMA's technical team in attendance, this collaborative effort is set to further strengthen interfaith advocacy and action against #malaria. As a coalition of faith leaders united for #malariaelimination, FLAME Zambia continues to amplify the power of partnerships, mobilising communities, and advocating for a #malariafree future. This effort is a reminder that the fight to #EndMalaria requires action from individuals across all sectors and walks of life. #ZMSWM
