HDIF Tanzania

The Human Development Innovation Fund is a UKAid financed program, providing grants to businesses, NGOs and research institutions for scaling innovations focused on the quality, value for money, and sustainability of basic services. HDIF’s goal is to improve human development outcomes for people in Tanzania by funding sustainable solutions for improving the quality and impact of basic services in health, education and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH). Working in collaboration with the Commission of Science and Technology (COSTECH) and other local partners, HDIF seeks to accelerate the testing and a scaling of innovation and strengthening of the innovation ecosystem through cross-sector networks, strategic partnerships, awards and events
