We are honoured to be among a group of excelling tour operators pushing promotional efforts in Tanzania and the Netherlands. We gained a lot of insight into the industry, specifically areas for improvement. Our main interest as a company is the long-term sustainability of our tourism industry, specifically the environmental and social side. As a company in the less-travelled area of Tanzania, we aim to set ourselves apart by exploring some blue ocean strategies, specifically EVs in the wild. To many, this seems impossible, but the challenge is the exciting part of our journey in the sustainability of nature tourism.

#behindthebrand Our market research phase was quite the adventure. We took on the challenge of running our test safaris while basing ourselves in Mikumi town, leaving the comfort of HQ. The objective was to gain a ground up understanding of the safari tourism industry. Living amoung guides, rangers, Hotel Staff and Camp Managers we get a irreplaceable experience. From the data we collected were able to create the perfect package in terms of itineraries, pricing, crisis management and customer relationship management. Management is planning to conduct further studies to enable environmental and economic sustainability 🌍 #safari #tourism #planningforsuccess #behindthescenes

We are building connections with the next generation of leaders, entrepreneurs and key stakeholders. It’s just the beginning 💪🏽
Today I had the opportunity to present my journey to the Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen sustainable entrepreneurship community. My company Wild Game Safari Tanzania has been a lifelong dream and it’s an privilege to talk about the ongoing process and challenges. I discussed setting up and running the business reflecting on key lessons learned from difficult moments. It’s been a very challenging road with a lot of opportunity costs. But this is the price we pay for success and change. Sustainablity is the key theme of our generation and I’m happy to keep contributing to a better future for all. This is my life’s work. Whether my dreams of sustainable transportation and energy systems will become tangible only time will tell… one thing is certain I will give my best effort to make a positive impact on the environment and communities. Thanks to Daniel Turle & Froukje Wijma for giving me the chance to speak at our first official session and all those who joined to listen to my presentation 🙏🏽.

Our page has been too quiet... As we are unsure what content is relevant to LinkedIn... It seems most Wildlife-related companies have chosen not to move here. We want our community to decide what you see! Please let us know what suggestions you have. Thank you very much.

Wild Game Safari Tanzania reposted this
Today, I received an invitation to the Tanzanian Embassy in Den Haag on behalf of my company, Wild Game Safari Tanzania, for all the international promotional work we have done for the Tanzanian tourism industry. I will participate in a meeting looking to shape the future of the industry specifically collaboration between Tanzania and Netherlands. Funnily enough, this will be the opportune moment to discuss my Master's Thesis research with experts and other stakeholders getting critical input.

Here, you can see the difference between the wet and dry seasons on the Mkata flood plains in Mikumi National Park. We are currently experiencing a lot of heavy rainfall in Tanzania for January. We will write an article about the impacts of the seasons on tourism, specifically on experiences. As the climate is rapidly changing, how can a tour operator be best prepared and navigate these complex scenarios?

Here is some more information about the company. Watch us interact with potential clients and hear from existing clients who have now become brand ambassadors! Kevin van der Gugten did us proud.

Thank you all for a great weekend!
I had the opportunity to take part in the Amsterdam Vacation Fair 2024. It was a fantastic event over the weekend. Tour operators and agents from all around the world participated. I was honoured to represent my country of Birth and company, Wild Game Safari Tanzania. Networking with industry stakeholders and potential clients was very fun and informative. This was a major milestone for myself and all those involved in the company, directly and indirectly, without whom it was not possible. I want to thank all who attended, and I look forward to the rest of the year!

As the year ends, we have been reflecting on our progress as a team. We had a dream a year ago; today, we have a business. We are thankful for the first season and look forward to the future. Sustainability is the central theme of the next decade, and we have aligned our values with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. We work closely with partners who share these values. This is all enabled by responsible tourism decision-making. Founder Kevin van der Gugten will further promote our adventures and objectives at the upcoming Vakantiebeurs Amsterdam on 06/01/2024 and 07/01/2024. Please don't hesitate to contact me for a ticket. #Vakantiebeurs #Amsterdam #tourism #safaris #sustainabledevelopmentgoals
