Innovations drive changes, and strong leaders are the cornerstone of a company's strategic development. The event centered on transformational solutions and their potential to shape the future of Ukraine's economy. Key topics encompassed the digitalization of large corporations, advancements and obstacles in the defense technology domain, and practical case studies of transformational initiatives. A standout example was the experience of the Ministry of Digital Transformation in digitizing state processes, showcasing how innovations can reshape governance and create a new business landscape. Special attention was given to the integration of AI solutions and cloud technologies into companies’ adaptation processes to meet modern challenges. Strengthening the defense sector remains a critical priority on the global agenda. A notable example is the Latvian State Defense Corporation, which in 2023 established an Executive Board that included Ingrida Kirse as a key member. Amrop Latvia proudly contributed to the formation of this board, recommending a candidate with extensive expertise in legal affairs and corporate governance. In under a year, the State Defense Corporation achieved significant milestones: - Strengthened its standing in both national and international defense ecosystems; - Participated in an international consortium; - Embedded principles of sound corporate governance. "Strengthening defense capability and advancing technology are among Ukraine's highest priorities. The collaboration between Amrop Ukraine and the global Amrop network facilitates the adoption of the best international practices in Executive Search and Board Services. This is a crucial step toward the successful transformation of both the defense sector and other industries in the country," says Viesturs Liegis, Managing Partner of Amrop Ukraine, Latvia, and Estonia #Amrop #AmropUkraine #executivesearch #boardsearch #boardservices

According to Deloitte Insights 2024, 55% of mobilized individuals change their profession after completing military service, while 46% are considering such a transition. With veterans expected to make up around 10% of Ukraine’s population after the war, their unique skills and experiences present a valuable opportunity for Ukrainian businesses to tap into. “Veterans bring unique competencies, including leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to perform effectively under stress. Their experience in decision-making and risk management makes them a valuable asset for businesses, especially in fast-changing environments. Integrating veterans into management teams will also help foster a corporate culture that values discipline, teamwork, and social responsibility,” says Viesturs Liegis, Managing Partner at Amrop Ukraine. Amrop Ukraine emphasizes the importance of integrating veterans into leadership roles, especially on supervisory boards, as their expertise can bolster organizational strength and improve adaptability in a dynamic environment. #AmropUkraine #veteransintegration #boardsearch #boardservices #executivesearch #VeteransatBoards
